Played barefoot bowls here on a Friday night , at “The greens”, from a prize I won on the radio as part of Echuca’s flood relief package. Was made to feel very welcome by the bar staff and fellow bowlers. Played about 15 ends and had a great time. Nice relaxed social setting, and highly recommend to all couples and groups alike. The night was topped off by a delicious meatlovers pizza and a win on the Friday night meat raffle, with a social yarn and drinks shared with the club president Swanny, and a few laughs with the club champion Cass, very personable people indeed. Even if you’re not an experienced barefoot bowler you will feel very at home here- you can wear suitable shoes and socks and bowling barefoot is not compulsory.

Hands down, best club cuisine I ever had. After our soccer game on Saturday night, we came here to enjoy drinks and good food. Having visited many club restaurants, I wasn’t expecting much. But when I tasted the slow cooked BBQ ribs, I was amazed. The meat was tender and juicy combined with a lightly made pesto and pumpkin sauce. Just Perfect! My partner loved the well seared Barramundi that came with creamy mash potatoes. Naturally, the place gets busy on a Saturday night, hence booking is essential. Also, the friendly staff advised us that it will take around 30 minutes for the food to come out. Enjoy a brick lane lager in the meantime, the food is worth the wait.

The better half and I recently had dinner here on two occasions, a couple of days apart. On the first occasion, we decided to go with some entrees to share along with one of the specials off the board. The Entrees were pretty good. We had a trio of dips, salt and pepper calamari, chips, and vermicelli prawn spring rolls. The special was mussels with a parmesan crumb. It was nice, but the mussels could have been heated right through. A couple of days later, we went for the weekly special, which was a seafood platter. It was really good, and we would do it again if they put that back on. I would recommend. All up 8/10

Though this is beautiful venue for a large function and our dealings with Maurie had been good, the food at the Buick Car Club of Australia's function, last Friday evening was not impressive at all. At $56.00 a head, plus $300.00 for hire of the function room, many people, from our 170 entrants, complained about the food. This was very disappointing. I could not recommend this venue. I was told that the steak was tough, the barramundi had a crunchy fennel topping which was extremely salty, and had to be removed, and the sweets, which sounded wonderful on paper, were also nothing to be excited about. We had been having wonderful and varied food, all week, in the Marquee at the Moama On The Murray Resort. This had been provided by Adam Mitchell , from Minute Chefs, so we were looking to cap off this great week by dining at Moama Bowling Club. Very disappointing to say the least. We had several cancellations which we had to pay for, while at the same time, they insisted on fee of $10.00 being paid for a child who was not able to eat anything chosen on the evening's menu, which I think was quite petty in view of the fact that we paid the Club nearly $9000.00, for the evening. Esther Healy for the Buick Car Club...

Was out for dinner with family friends for their son’s Birthday. Ordered meals all arrived except for the 2 scotch Filets that were ordered. 10 minutes after everyone had finished eating the waitress apologised for the delay and provided a free drink for the inconvenience. The meals then arrived 10 minutes later and the smell from the plates was overwhelming. The steaks were rotten!!! We notified the waitress as was told that the duty manager offered a refund and a $25 voucher. So I asked to speak to the Juty manager - John. He came over quite aggressively challenging myself and my friend including bringing my daughter to tears!!! Absolutely disgraceful behaviour! We were made to feel like we were the problem! Luckily the smell was that bad that we couldn’t even try to eat the food and possibly end up very ill!! Even passing waitresses commented on how bad the food smelt!! When asked to take this matter further was told to go to the...

Went here today with some friends spent a good 6 plus hours at the Venue between the 4 of us we spent well over $1,000 had a great time when it was time for us to leave to go back to our hotel in Echuca we were told we would have to wait till 10pm for courtesy bus this was at 9pm great ploy to get us to stay longer we tried to order Uber nothing available went in and asked for staff to call a taxi for us staff didn’t call us a taxi they put us on the wait list for bus…. However there was 2 buses outside the venue for over 10 minutes going nowhere then they left with some customers and returned again and sat there not happy with the so called courtesy service you provided to your customers then have your staff so No compassion to customers it took for us to get a nice taxi picking up a customer to organize a cab for us…. This was my first time there and I will never go back there again as I was told not to come back welll guess what I...
