I am sad to say that we frequented this Bowser Bean over some years and always requested a freshly made burger. It was neve a problem in the past and tasted awesome, but we went in a few weeks ago and requested our normal freshly made burger to be told no. We were then told that we have to have one from the window, after some protest, we were told that they can sell the burgers in the window for up to 4 hours. Seriously...., why would you even admit that. I asked would you eat one that had been there for four hours to which they would not offer any answer. No surprise there. I then complained to head office. to my surprise, I didnt even get the honor of being graced with a phone call. It would seem that service and client satisfaction is not high on the agenda. I was informed by email that they would only do fresh burgers if the staff "had the capacity to do so". and further went on to state "On $5 Burger Wednesdays however requesting a freshly made burger does incur a custom order fee, this is the only day where this is charged and is stated in our T&Cs. I mean what’s going on? who has T&C’s about food?? I have to say I am shocked, being a chef by trade, at the response received!! Bowser Bean advertise on TV how they make fresh burgers not wilted ones that sit in a Bain Marie for hours on end. SHAME ON YOU BOWSER BEAN for your false advertising and you not having a patron centred approach.
