Yummy Thai at Morisset — Restaurant in Morisset

I recently dined at Yummy Thai at Morisset with a friend after a long day, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, we found the restaurant to be quite cold. When I politely asked the owner if they could turn on the heater, the response was shockingly rude. The owner dismissively told me to "bring your jumper" and then went inside, laughing about it with a colleague. This lack of basic hospitality was very disappointing.

We ordered two fried rice dishes, but only one was delivered to our table. When we pointed out the mistake, the staff seemed indifferent and took an unusually long time to bring the second dish. This level of service is unacceptable, especially when it comes to something as simple as getting an order right.

Moreover, it was disheartening to observe that the staff seemed to be more attentive and friendly towards lighter-skinned patrons, while we, being darker-skinned, were largely ignored. This kind of discriminatory behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful.

Overall, our experience at Yummy Thai at Morisset was marred by poor service, unwelcoming staff, and a sense of discrimination. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant...

Entree: Sate Chicken Skewers & Angel Prawns Both entrees arrived within "nano seconds" of ordering = pre cooked. Sate Skewers - average at best but we ate all 4. Angel Prawns - We'd had these recommended by a neighbour. 4 in a serve & 2 went back untouched. All we can say is "the neighbours can't get out much" if they think they are worth recommending! 😬 Main: deep fried chicken with honey/lemon sauce. This reminded me of my partner's 1st attempt at "light batter deep fry" - corn flour; corn flour; corn flour. Yuk. We left 95% of this, paid our bill & left. Will we go again? No, nup, can't say we will. Did we get value for $$? No, nup, can't say we did. Are we going to regret eating there? Bit too early to tell but early tummy rumbles aren't...

Ordered take away, was told there was a 30 minute wait. After more than 50 minutes and watching all the people who ordered after me (about 6) get their food i enquired about my order.

The young bloke shrugged his shoulders and didn't care that I'd almost waited double the time I was advised before i placed my order, no I'll find out or it coming, he made no effort whatsoever, just gave a terrible attitude. The girl were nice, one saw what the bloke did and offered an apology, she knows what customer service is, unfortunately the damage was done.

I suspect our food was redirected to someone who ordered the same dish who was dining in!
