If you're doing a trip down the south coast (or up, whatever, no big whoop) do yourself a favour and stop in at the Adelaide Hotel in Moruya. And if you can, plan your trip so you arrive at lunchtime cause the food here is freaking unreal. Absolutely love the food, staff and service. Well to be honest, of the 5 times I've been here while on my annual travels to the Sapphire Coast, I've only ever ordered the bangers and mash, but others I've been with have loved the schnitties, the crumbed lamb chapels and the fish and chips! So stop in, try it out you won't be disappointed.

Had a nice meal- blue grenadier, chips and salad. Decent serving with 2 pieces of fish and crunchy chips. Nice salad with a yummy dressing. Husband had pork snags, mash(real potatoes!) And heaps of peas. Good size meal for good price. The atmosphere is much better now, as they have removed all the betting TV screens and made it feel more like a family bistro.

Recommended dish: chicken snitzels + 6 prawns with chips and salad, topped with garlic sauce. Their garlic sauce was sensational!!! Tied the whole dish together. I recommend paying extra for the sauce if you're there just for chips or wedges. They also have a wide variety of complimentary sauces. See pictures. Atmosphere is like any Aussie pub.

Not a place to dine at if u want to taste cigarettes or deep fryer oil, no care from staff when pointed out that the people were smoking way to close to people eating. Even the outdated signs that could hardly be read indicated that there was to be no smoking near people eating. Just so u know Adelaide Hotel, the NSW law clearly states there is smoking allowed within 4 meters of a dinning area. And these areas must be clearly defined. The staff only wanted to argue that I was wrong and that the patrons smoking didn't have to move. That action alone warrants a 5500 fine. Sad to think I was trying to help when pointing out this problem but I was only persecuted by the barman instead. Shame. I...

Kitchen were happy to work with me, which is greatly appreciated. Us pesky vegetarians generally avoid places like this, but occasionally we get dragged into family events, and when we do, it's always extremely disappointing having almost exclusively a pumpkin risotto, or an eggplant parmigiana. The Addie doesn't even deign to give us that though, and elects for a rather unfulfilling salad as the one vego thing. I'm not asking for a full menu, but it really only takes a teaspoon of creativity to come up with something more...
