Hungry Jack's Burgers Mount Barker — Restaurant in Mount Barker

I write this review in hopes that somebody higher up at this decrepit store actually takes some sort of action. EVERY SINGLE TIME that I have come to this store, I have waited no less than 10 minutes. I am a delivery driver and am quite consistently dissapointed with the lack of care of ALL of the managers and 90% of the staff. I have complained on numerous occasions regarding the wait as I have genuinely waited more than 40 minutes at times for 1 delivery order. Not only is this frustrating for me as I'm not getting paid, it's also frustrating for the customer as they are waiting so long for their food, only for it to still be cold as it seems, this store can take so long to make the food and it still not be fresh. I was particularly upset today when I waited 20 minutes however was initially advised it would be a 2 minute wait. After waiting 20 minutes, it finally came and was 1 singular meal, I asked the manager who also advised that she was the RESTAURANT MANAGER why it took so long and she just stared at me blankly with no response and then said that she forgot to cook the meat for the Burger. How is someone like that employed to be in charge of an entire hungry Jacks. PLEASE SEND SOME BETTER MANAGERS TO THIS STORE. it is consistently terrible. Please fix your store as I actually cannot deal with this anymore. This is my livelihood.

Please eat anywhere but here. It's such terrible service and food. You're money is much better spent...

RANT.....HUNGRY JACKS..MOUNT BARKER ... I was disgusted to say what I seen at your store while waiting for my daughter to finish work was appalling..... 3 of your workers not doing their job at all talking and carrying on out the back section ... Then come to realise 1 of those workers was the night manager who was involved then to wittness one of those same workers walk to the chipper where food is kept pick up chips with no gloves and proceed to earth them ..... the manager seen this grabbed her by the shirt said her name and removed her but in a friendly way the worker replied ..thought we was friends . Then roughly 10 mins later the worker who ate the chips was again down the front I witnessed 2 customers waiting to be served she turned and stated to another worker she was not going to serve them and that someone else should do it she then stood near the coffee machine crossed her arms and refused to move I was disgusted to see how half of the crew acted last night and more disappointed that the night manager is more their best friends then the actual boss who can't keep their staff under control and yes I have put in a complaint over this and what I witnessed yesterday....... When speaking to my daughter about this she stated there was more and worse i didn't see and has also put in a complaint about it and has said she will not be going back to help in that store again ...... think this place needs new workers and...

Just like McDonalds, Mount Barker, Hungry Jacks, can't cope with the amount of orders because the population has out grown the output they can manage and deliver. Therefore the food is way below par, cold, undercooked etc, a lawsuit waiting to happen. Their delivery via Menulog is atrocious. A delivery that should take no more than an hour max, is taking 2-3 hours. Yet before you place an order for delivery via Menulog, it says 25-35mins, but once you actually place & pay for the order only then does it say the true approximate time and it's way beyond 25-35mins. Several times now with delivery I've had items missing. So I call the store with the promise it will be delivered with the next available delivery driver. Yet it still never arrives, and try think they're going to get to keep my $$$ for nothing. WRONG, now I've contacted the ACCC who are now taking such complaints very seriously. They regard non delivered or missing items which are either not delivered or refunded as theft. I don't live on fast junk food, but sometimes because of my disability it's easier to order Maccas or HJ. Well in done,and have deleted all apps and accounts. I don't do business with liars and thieves and who work kids like dogs for very low pay, whilst they take in millions per week. Wake up people...
