We dined in, firstly this is not an intimate dining experience we expected this being off the main shopping centre, it has a more casual vibe to it it's a smaller restaurant and from the foot traffic a lot of people appear to buy take away. If you're wanting to have a romantic Thai dinner date I would suggest buying the food and having it as a picnic somewhere. But don't let this take away from the experience, the staff were friendly, we were told we could sit wherever we wanted and the wait staff bought us water and glasses and menus, you order at the counter and pay, at which point the wait staff bought us plates cutlery and napkins. We chatted for a bit 10-15 minutes before the first 2 dishes were bought out, fried rice and Pad Kee Mao We also had ordered grilled chicken and a prawn dish (photo) which I can't remember the name of but was apparently sweet (I don't eat prawns so can't verify) these arrived a few minutes after we had started eating which was fine. The Pad Kee Mao has some heat but not overwhelming I guess this would be subjective however for myself I considered it mild and my husband considers it spicy but tolerable.
We opted to try this place as we wanted somewhere that had lots of veggies in their meals as a lot of places stock up with the meat but lack the veggies we weren't disappointed there was lots of carrots, broccoli, zucchini, etc in amongst the rice and Pad Kee Mao. And the veggies taste and texture came across as very fresh. We got 4 dishes and 2 cokes and it came to around $80-90.
I would happily spend that again because my husband has a large appetite and I still managed to get left overs to take home it would probably feed 4-6 smaller eaters easily enough as the portion sizes were generous.
I would recommend this place, the staff were friendly and polite, food was fresh and favourable, and provided you aren't after the most intimate romantic dine in, situation the atmosphere was relaxed and nice. We arrived around 5 and appeared to arrive just before the peak rush so our order was placed and filled as the customer rush...
Read moreWe were so excited to get food from this place as the reviews were great . What a disappointment !!!! We ordered Satays on a stick as a entree and got satay chicken ( obviously it was a main dish ) maybe they had run out of sticks but it wasn’t what we wanted at all . I had even given them the number in the menu to ensure there was no mix up . The pad Thai was oily and tasteless , in fact it gave me indigestion, there was no flavour. The fried rice tasted just like the pad Thai , oily and tasteless . The steamed rice was hard and lumpy . Our meal was a total disappointment and when you spend a good amount of money you expect some good food . We have all been to Thailand many rimes and this food was not Thai . Maybe they had a bad night , but neither I or any member of my family will eat...
Read moreVery disappointed. We get food from this restaurant a lot. Food is always pretty good. Sometimes cold- but tasty. Tonight I was furious when I was told delivery was 60mins away. I was happy to wait this amount of time. At 1.5hours I called to see if my food was on its way. She said she will call the delivery driver... no call back! Then I called back at 2 hours after I ordered. She said oh, the delivery driver said he's already been! Which was obviously not the case. I was so upset because I have a toddler and we waited for dinner until her bedtime. I would have been happy to come in and get my food if they just said they were busy. She told me on the phone that they are just so busy. I totally understand this. But some communication would be great! Food was good. But spring rolls...
