China Inn Chinese Take Away — Restaurant in Mount Hawthorn

I got a family meal last night nothing was eatable. I found steel in my beef satay and my honey chicken was soggy with little to no honey.. spring rolls were in a bag with pineapple fritters soggy and cold. The rice wasn’t all that bad apart from the Shrimp that was white and the rice was all stuck together. Honestly was as if the whole meal was microwaved. I am unable to contact business until 5 pm today as they just closed as I left at 9.15 last night. Extremely dissatisfied. Called them at 5.30 and explained what happened they then said oh that’s from the metal that came off wok after cleaning... I asked for a refund and they said to bring it back so they can inspect the food refused to collect the food from me and asked me to get the bus and drop it past the following day, I explained I couldn’t due to work and university and not having a car and they refused to give me any refund or apologise, Stay away you will be disappointed as the owners or whom ever is in charge refuse to speak to you as they don’t understand English. Food is microwaved...

( for those multitaskers ) An equally Friendly Staff of the China Inn, More than 😃✅to cater for Welcomed requests, preferences from those More travelled patrons, to local generally less particular on the spices 🌶✨ ‘Incidentally’, along with their Specialist offerings, further spoil yourself on an Absolutely tantalising treat, of the ‘Fried ice cream’ 🍨 Compliments to their Chef, on the way desiccated coconut has been introduced. Very Intercontinental, & Very Proud of their return Customer...

2025 Oct 3rd.. Returned after a long time away... ordered and must admit this was very very good, it was so nice as i was awaiting outside and the young man - who was so polite brought out my order and also included gratis freshly fried prawn crackers... the quality of tonights dinner , was lovely. Thank you.
