I recently had the misfortune of dining at Four Mates Burgers in Mount Hawthorn, and it was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. The Juicy Lucy burger I ordered was an over-salted abomination, likely an attempt to mask the fact that the meat was well past its prime. Each bite was a salt lick, leaving me to question if it was intended to be a sodium overdose rather than a meal.
But that’s not all. The customer service was a train wreck. I was blatantly overcharged by $20 for no discernible reason, and when I tried to address the issue, I was met with indifference and incompetence. Adding insult to injury, the staff members singing voice that could only be described as nails on a chalkboard. If he’s auditioning for a musical career, he should reconsider. His talent—or lack thereof—was a painful reminder of how crucial professionalism and skill are in any service industry.
In sum, Four Mates Burgers has some serious issues to address: underwhelming food, appalling service, and a soundtrack that could drive anyone away. Save your time and money; there are far better places to enjoy a burger and a pleasant...
Read moreI went on Boxing Day and am disappointed with how all staff were not wearing masks as it is mandatory to do so.
The lady at the front counter displayed unnecessary attitude when I showed her my order number. She was annoyed because she couldn’t understand what I was showing her. For a place that receives numerous Uber Eats orders, she couldn’t read the order number. She told me it would be 5 more minutes, so I waited patiently. Another customer was complaining about the wait and again she showed attitude and didn’t came back from the kitchen. A chef came out with the customers order and then asked me what I was waiting for. I told him the name and he went to the kitchen and grabbed my order. My order had been sitting there for 10 mins and the lady never had the initiative to give it to me as soon as it was done.
I am disgusted with how they run a business and have no decency to follow the rules laid out by the government. That is an act of...

During mask mandate, christmas holiday
Ordered two burgers chips and milkshakes, took almost an extra 15 minutes before it was ready. Chips were cold, fried in stale oil, and tasted burnt... aioli had split so there was a layer of water on top Burgers (baconzilla) also cold, smelt like mushroom and tasted like rancid bacon fat, inedible, the burger patty had a large amount of whole peppercorns in it (one bite had 5) Milkshake was watery, tasted like very faintly of chocolate syrup, and was full of ice cubes.
Taking food back they offered a free burger instead of a refund, which was refused. The restaurant was full of flies (counted 23 live ones sitting on the bench next to the till) at least one worker wasn't wearing a mask at all and another had it only...
