We walked into this restaurant optismistic as i had seen write ups online and the pictures look great and right up my alley.

Walking in we received no greeting, no eye contact, not even a nod of acknowledgment despite enough staff.

After standing awkwardly for a few minutes, we decided to take initiative and seat ourselves on a table for 2 as we had booked a table for 2.

Ten minutes later, someone finally approached—not to take our order, but to let us know the table was actually booked for someone else.

The waitress escorted us to a new table that was positioned on a pebbled laneway and I'm all for ordering sides but i didnt order a side of hedges.

Positioned with the hedges, okay this could be romantic, in theory—and I'm keen for dimly lit dinners and mood lighting but there was NO lighting shattered cause my date was 👌, thankfully my phone light came to the rescue.

We ordered pizzas and waited approx 35 minutes for our food to arrive, im okay with that but it was 35mins more so because the other table in the hedges ordered the exact same pizzas after us, they received our pizzas first because the staff mixed up our tables, whatever mistakes happen but the waitress couldn't have cared less. We got our pizzas, Napkins? Cutlery? Never offered, I ask for napkins, which i thought was basic service. The staff lacked initiative and f** given tbh.

Now, to give credit where it's due: the pizza itself? Delicious. You can tell the owners invested in quality ingredients, thoughtful dough prep, and a decent pizza oven. They've bulletproofed the food side of things, no question. But everything else—from the service to the atmosphere—falls flat.

The view is aesthetically pleasing, sure, but the place feels like it's missing a pulse. Beautiful shell, but no soul. The 2 stars is for the delish pizza, great aesthetics and the cold...

I ordered my pizza on Friday online from blacksmith provedore mulwala. The website offered no identification of time online only that the pizza would be ready in about an hour and I will receive an email as to when its ready . No invoice sent to email but they charged my bank account. Marketing emails in my inbox within a few seconds. SPAM I arrive at the venue only to find out there’s a wedding there and I can’t get the attention of any staff until I go up to the bar. I speak to a waitress and she goes off to see if she can arrange my order she comes back with a bloke and they say yep we can smash this out. This other waitress, Lisa, comes up and says sorry we can’t fulfil your order even after i show her the info on the website where it shows today’s date. She then proceeds to argue with me saying that it was locked out for tonight while ushering me out of the way of the wedding couple as they make their entrance. So i ask for my refund as they had already deducted the money from my account. Her response was she couldn't guarantee but maybe today or tomorrow…. So i left with no money and no pizza As a local in the area im disappointed in the way i was treated. And i will not be recommending this venue to any family friends or acquaintances.

Lisa should step aside and let the others run the place, they clearly care more about customers than her and acknowledged and accepted the error and was prepared to rectify it. Lisa made things worse. I am posting this on my Facebook to ensure all our mulwala and Yarrawonga friends know this is how they treat people. Worst experience in...

DISAPPOINTING! After seeing this "trendy" spot all over TikTok, I decide it would be a cool place to take my family.

First off, no signage. The path to the restaurant was dark and unwelcoming. No one greeted us. We stood awkwardly in the middle of the bar like lost idiots while staff walked by without even acknowledging us. That should’ve been the first red flag. We had to go up and ask someone where our booked table was, only to be told, “Oh, there’s a two-hour delay on pizzas and your table’s not ready.” What’s the point of taking bookings if you can’t even manage a table? We waited another 30 minutes in line just to order drinks and food—only to be told, “We’re not doing pizzas anymore tonight.” At 8:30pm. Honestly, we should’ve left then and there.

Eventually, we got a table, and they let us order pizzas 30 minutes after arriving. Our pizzas showed up an hour and a half later…. And burnt…..

The waiters seemed more interested in hanging out with their friends than actually working. Looked like free drinks were being handed out to mates while paying customers waited. If your kitchen is that slow, you could offer a complimentary drink, bread—something—to show you care.

Sure, the place has “vibes,” but vibes don’t make up for disorganised, careless service. Get your act together, or this place won’t last.

By the previous reviews, it seems this is a common recurring problem that hasn’t...

This was quite a fancy place with a high-end European style fit out, we sat outside and it was a very enjoyable experience with great ambience and spray water turned on from above which was an unexpected delight. The pizzas were very tasty, woodfire style (although the oven looked high-tech which achieves a woodfire taste) and the pizzas were of a good size (I’d classify them as a passable large). Three pizzas were sufficient for our family of four and we were all quite satisfied (with taste and portions). I’d class the cost as medium towards high, in the $25$-$30 range for a pizza. The service was attentive and polite, and the staff had a positive vibe. If you’re in Yarrawonga or Mulwala, this place needs to be locked in as a definite visit. The food, fit out and ambience are a standout for the location!

Thus place is so unassuming when you drive past. The menu is minimalist but good. The main fare is wood fires pizzas. The replacement garlic bread starter was different and very very salty but would order again. There was a selection of a number of pizzas and the cheese board was sensational. The restaurant opens out onto a grassed area which then has Lake Mulwala as a backdrop. Just delightful to sit in the sun and have that view. The parking is out the front of the restaurant however hidden out the back us a car park that you can also use and walk about 40m to the back entry. Customer service was great. Highly recommended.
