Golden Inn — Restaurant in Mulwala

I had family over and they wanted Chinese food for dinner 🍽 but wasn't sure about this place because of the negative reviews but decided to give it ago as you never know your luck as we all have our good and bad days. The staff members were very friendly and helpful and the food was very nice. One of the staff saw me taking pictures of my family and offered to take one with me in it. That was awesome. Dreadful experience from start to finish. Manager was hostile and confrontational upon arrival despite the restaurant being half empty. Inept service throughout - staff tried clearing plates while we were still eating and filled them with dirty cutlery. Food quality was poor. When leaving, the manager became aggressive again, falsely accusing us of not paying for drinks (which were purchased directly from the ski club bar). Over cooked chicken The Honey chicken sauce smelt and tasted like waterd down honey with nothing else. Fried rice tasted terrible like it had been re heated rice.

Maybe it was a busy night? Received a full refund when I took the food back the next day. To bad if you were driving through the night.
