Royal Mail Hotel — Restaurant in Mulwala

I asked waitress if they cooked the steak to my liking, she said yes they do cook to customers request, so I ordered mine medium to rare. My steak came out well done. Called waitress over and told her it was over cooked so they cooked another steak for me (thank you. I appreciated them cooking me a fresh steak) but this took 20 mins to come out and steak was raw. It was so raw it was still mooing. The staff were lovely but chef's don't know how to cook a steak to your liking. Would I recommend dining here, Yes bit don't order steak especially if you can't eat meat well...

This is our favourite pub, just over the bridge. Today was cold outside, fire was toasty, food was amazing, drinks cold, great atmosphere and great service. 10/10 fot the way you guys handled one of the most craziest customers we'd ever seen. Went to hotel because of its great reviews. Have completely opposite opinion, mainly because of the intransigence of the cook. Young wait lasses were great, but the cook, when asked, refused to put an egg on a steak sandwich. We had a few other minor requests to have food as we wanted but on every occasion, it was refused.
