Fantastic museum. Needs a six star rating. I've visited a couple of times over the years, and always see something I've previously overlooked. A brilliant window to not only history of the local area, but Australian history as well. From the remarkable (yet devastating) story of Douglas Sloane, to the Aboriginal tools display, to the historic vehicles and machinery....and everything thing in-between. There is SO much to be discovered. Was a real pleasure to meet (and chat) with a couple of the museums volunteers, Glen and Bruce on my last visit, couple of great blokes. Everything from cars, trucks, farming machinery, aircraft, war history, clothing and sports is on display.
