Little Birdy Bakery — Restaurant in Nairne

The younger lady seemed very friendly but the older one who served me was quite snobby i got a cheeseburger pie as it sounded nice and was one of the more expensive like $8 from memory so i thought it would be good but it was a standard beef pie with basic mince beef had pickles and a dob of tomato sauce and a dob of mustard pastry was under done and cold but meat was boiling hot as if it had been microwaved and i got a custard tart as they looked really good but base was soft and couldnt hold its own weight and had literally about 3mm deep worth of custard in it. Plenty of potential just needs to give the service people expect from a small town bakery and either quality ingredients to reflect the big price or if they are then put the love into the food to reflect that price food wasnt bad but i expect better than a microwaved pie with pickles and a soggy 3mm thick custard...

Nothing short of amazing 🤩, best coffee ever! Finally I can go to a cafe, and get a coffee that actually tastes like coffee, and not just warm milk, like I have so regularly experienced elsewhere. You get a choice of three strengths of coffee (never ever had that before)…. Smug Pug (mild), Husky (mid strength), and Raging Bull (hell yeah!). Excellent atmosphere, high quality food, and all of the staff are so friendly. What a great hidden gem , fantastic food and customer service , Marcello and staff are is very welcoming and very friendly!! We went there on Father’s Day for brunch , we had a brioche bun with hash brown , egg , bacon with bbq sauce and it was so delicious, washed it down with a great cappucino .

Very nice range of of sweets, cakes , including gluten free !! We were served at the table by a very polite , efficient and helpful young lad , by the name of Stirling .

We will be visiting this great little Birdy again !!!
