Attitude Burgers — Restaurant in New South Wales

Food was good but disappointed with the customer service. Ordered a single takeaway burger and chips. At the 30 minute mark, I asked one of their waiters to give me an ETA and he came back and told me another 15 minutes - so 45 minutes all up for a single burger and chips. I asked for him to tell the front counter staff that they should inform customers of the wait time before they ordered. I didn't see him talk to the counter staff so I asked him again - both times in a calm and polite manner. Next thing, the front counter girl comes out and asks if I have a problem. I just say that it would have been nice to know of the delay before I ordered. She says that she did tell me (and all other customers) and seems to want to escalate the disagreement on this matter which I was not interested in because it was just my recollection vs hers but I know that I would have gone elsewhere if I had known it would be a 45 minute wait. The guy in front of me was also surprised by the wait and I overheard the table next to me complaining of the wait time as well so I doubt they were telling everyone of the delays as she claimed. Then she accuses me of 'abusing' her waiter and asked me to 'leave him alone'. I did nothing to abuse the waiter and only offered up some constructive criticism all in a calm tone. My suggestion would be to take constructive criticism from customers and not confuse it as 'abuse', admit you can make mistakes (everyone does) and don't try to escalate a disagreement/argument with your customers over something that can't be...

Came in today to try the most talked about burger place. Staff where friendly and ever so helpful. Upon starting to eat our meal we noticed that the one burger was raw in the middle, we took this burger back and where offered a refund or burger to be remade, no hesitation and apologetic. Upon returning to our meal I began to eat another burger the our kids did not want to eat 2 bites in and it is also raw and chewy, one of our children had already eaten half so we didn’t bother to return that burger. But disappointed that we waited 30mins for 2 uncooked and uneatable burgers. Both burgers had too much sauce and dripped everywhere, and had conflicting flavours. The Philly steak burger was ok, however the bun was cut all the way through causing the filling to spill out, again not enjoyable and served with too much sauce. The chicken wings had too much vinegar but where cooked though and ok. Chips where tasty and cooked to perfection and where nice and crunchy on the outside. My father in law recommended this place, claiming its the best burger he's ever had. He's not an easily impressed man. He told me I had to visit here when in Coffs Harbour.

I ordered the "Bacon me Hungry" burger. It came out looking amazing and tasted just as good. Probably the best burger I've ever had purchased from a shop / take away.

What really impressed me though was the chips and onion rings. I haven't had good chips in years as they're always undercooked and soggy/cold. These chips were so cripsy and fresh, just how I like them! Saw another table get onion rings and I had to get them too and wow, they explode with flavour. So crispy and delicious. Well done !!
