Yesterday afternoon I purchased 2 x sourdough loafs ($13) from this store. I was walking back to my car with my trolly of groceries, and one loaf had opened as it was not fastened correctly and I lost half a sourdough loaf. I gathered the half loaf off the car park floor and walked back to the store to explain what had happened. When speaking to a bakers delight female staff member she said she would check with her manager if she could give me a new loaf. The female staff member returned and told me he said no ~ it wasnāt their responsibility what happens to the loaf once purchased. I asked to speak to the manger, she returned saying heās busy. I could see the manager on duty standing at the back of the bakery. He did not want to speak to me or acknowledge what had happened. I asked him to come to the front of the store and speak To me. He eventually came to the front however his lack of understanding and telling me he could not replace everyoneās loaf and that he doesnāt believe this happened to me. I am extremely shocked and disappointed by the attitude of the manager and his lack of customer service and the female staff member who didnāt take accountability for the bread not being tied correctly. Being a BD loyalty card holder every second day I purchase a loaf of bread and additionally a baked good from this particular store. I am absolutely disgusted by the accusations of lying when I had just purchased these loafs and am a regular loyal customer. I left the whole loaf on the counter as I was frustrated by the attitude of the manager called āWillā. I want everyone to be aware of how this store is operating and treating their regular loyal customers ~ My family and I will no longer be supporting this franchise bakers...

I was waiting for my two year old to choose what he wanted (keep in mind he is literally two years old) and she was impatiently telling us she had to serve other customers like... Iām literally not stopping you I didnāt ask you to serve me I did not even speak to you, I made sure there was space for other customers to be served because I knew he was going to take a little bit to choose (it took less than 5 minutes). Once he decided, I was told we could only get it in a pack of six, which was fine, she canāt help that, until she very condescendingly says āso these are the big ones, these are $3 and this is the size of themā like sheās speaking to a child. Iām not blind, I can see the big ones, I know how much they are as there is a massive price sign right in front of them. I was about to order one but decided not to as everything was covered in flies. I really hope management or this girl reads this, I donāt know if this was her first shift at her first job but it was an awful experience and I donāt like to be talked down on by a child. Sold to me on a Saturday morning and served for lunch that day, felt as if they were 2 or more days old. I'm no longer a fan of this brand, I use to look forward to enjoying their selections.
