- Booking and Check In Absolutely pleasant experiance room was "ready" to check in on time and on the occasion that I called to make enquiries and such in the lead up to our stay, staff were very helpful and informative - Cabin Upon check in the room was filthy. Walls had multiple marks, scrapes and filthy. Stove top was greasy and floors were horrible. Air Conditioner was full of mould. Quilts on bed had no quilt covers and room fans were full of dust, peeling paint and rust. Stairs leading to upstairs loft bedroom were sharp and could only be described as a death trap all inclusive with rusty exposed nails on the side. Bunk beds in loft room were broken and slats on the bed were bolted to a large peice of board that was bigger than the bed leading to sharp slats coming out past the bed frame which my son scraped his legs on multiple occasions getting in and out of the bed. All other cabins had an outdoor seating table except for ours. Bathroom is extremely narrow however was relatively clean. External room light on balcony did not work and light at bottom of stairs was held together by tape and had sharp exposed metal. Included WiFi - not existent. - Waterpark and pool Absolutely phenomenal. No complaints at all. This was the highlight of our stay and aside from the staff the only reason for my two star rating. - Car park and Park security Very limited lighting throught the park especially in the car park where our cabins were leading to my son tripping over when coming and going due to uneven ground and nil lighting. Rear pedestrian gate rarely locked which was a safety concern that was raised during our stay however not rectified. Signage around driving through the caravan park was near non existent leading to multiple cars going in the wrong direction when coming and going. Overall our stay was definitely not worth $399 per night and we will not be returning again.

The location of the park is great. Walking distance to the beach, a few minutes drive to shops and fast food restaurant’s and it doesn’t take long at all to drive to The Entrance. The kids Water Park is great and the pool is nice too. The cabin we stayed in was a perfect size but unfortunately it is extremely outdated. We checked in on a Friday at approximately 6pm and noticed that the toilet paper holder wasn’t doing its job well & the toilet paper wouldn’t sit on it. The shower head was broken and therefore we couldn’t use it that night & had to wait until after 8am to report it broken & needing immediate repair. Not being able to shower that night was an inconvenience, then having to spend time reporting the issue and then waiting for someone to repair it was also an inconvenience and not something that I care to have to spend time doing on a short weekend stay. A young man came to inspect the issue, left to get more tools, came back and replaced it and left the shower, tiles and basin quite a mess & didn’t clean up after himself. The sofa was a sofa bed, we went to pull it out to use because the kids were afraid of sleeping upstairs but we couldn’t use it because the frame of the bed was broken and therefore couldn’t be pulled out. We stayed in early March which isn’t busy season, we paid just over $500 for 2 nights & whilst this park has a few great things about it they’d really need to up their game to get people coming back at these prices.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My husband and I booked a cabin, upon checking in we immediately noticed the cabin was filthy. We called staff and were moved to a beach walk cabin.. walked inside and same thing - very filthy. We have 3 kids and no way would we have stayed there - did not even feel safe even putting them on the couch while calling to ask for a refund! We had travelled 4 hours to stay there and were deeply disappointed by the state of the rooms. The whole park itself looks run down. When we spoke to office staff she was rude and her response was “what do you expect for 3 star accomodation” we insisted she come down and look at the rooms while we were there as she stated that she had just done a audit on the cabins and we would happily show her the mould, grime, dust, stains on bedding etc but she did not and agreed to a full refund as we requested and we booked elsewhere that same day. Wish we had seen these reviews first before booking! I did not think to take more photos at the time, the floors in particular the stairs to the loft were disgusting, mould in the bathroom, stained bedding/linen, walls and windows all appeared dirty and an insane amount of dust built up over the fan. Would not reccomend to anyone.

We returned to this park for our 8th Christmas family get together. Parts of our family live close by and we congregate here for Christmas Day. The park has great facilities. However, this year turned out to be very disappointing experience. We booked a specific cabin 9 months in advance, went back 2 days before our visit, to take photos for others travelling to organise gazebo's and tables. At this point there was no one in our cabin. We checked in 2 days later and was told there was a maintenance issue with our cabin and they would have to move us, like it or lump it. Although disappointed we took it on the chin. We went to our cabin, walked around the corner and saw that our original cabin had people in it. Confused, we went back to reception for an explanation, the receptionist could not explain why people were in our original cabin and offered a 25% refund for the inconvenience. This was later overruled by the manager. We asked to speak to the owner, they were not authorised to give out his phone number and that he would call us. We received a text to send an email, not from the owner's number. |We have sent multiple emails with no communication. There were no managers available on the 24,25,26 and 27th of December. |The cabin itself was dated, marks covered the walls, the bathroom was tiny and the bed was hard as a rock. |We had to re-wash all of the kitchenware as it was dirty and greasy.|We left a day early, as we couldn't sleep on a bed of rock for another night.|Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill, my advice is give it a miss. There are plenty of other options in the area.|P.S. We paid $1400 ($350 per night) for...

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, children's water park was fantastic, park amenities were spotless. It was clear the amenities were not cleaned by the same cleaner who cleaned our cabin! We stayed in a Beachwalk Cabin. To be blunt, the cabin was filthy. The walls could have done with a good wipe down (which we ended up doing ourselves due to the grot surrounding the kitchen area) and the floor was putrid. It may have been swept, but it certainly hasn't seen a clean mop in quite some time. Particularly the bathroom floor. I found myself wishing I had taken a bottle of vinegar or cleaning solution with me. It was clear that a very genuine effort had been put into 'reviving' the outdated & tired cabin with a fresh lick of paint, but this effort was in vain as the lack of cleaning overshadowed their maintenance efforts. Another aspect that hindered our stay, whilst out of the parks control, was the cigarette smoke! Occupants of the cabins directly surrounding us were all smokers. The people in the cabin adjoining our cabin were constantly on their verandah smoking, the cabin on the other side of us chose to smoke at the table directly outside our door & the cabins behind us chose to smoke at the tables directly outside our bedroom window. So we were constantly inhaling second-hand smoke. Two simple solutions would assist this park in creating a more relaxed atmosphere - more attention to cleanliness of the cabins & allocating 'smokers' & 'non-smokers'...
