Worst pie on the planet I hate writing something bad about a business but this is the worst takeaway I ever bought. Avoid the meat pies here! Even the dog wouldn't touch it and she's by no means a picky eater. How the baker came up with the precise blend of glue, jelly and grey matter and thought "hmmm this would be a good meat pie" is beyond me. Luckily I didn't swallow it or I doubt I'd be typing this review. Wish I'd had my camera with me. I'd like to have photographed the mucous and slime mixture to send to a science mag to see if any of their readers were any better at identifying the substance than I was.Anyway, try one of the other bakeries. The owner is wonderful but unfortunately some of the staff who work here accidentally rip people off ( especially kids) The owner personally calls to apologise on behalf of the staff but it makes you not want to go back in there :( and I have no idea why salt would be dusted onto overcooked pizza breads but it's not very nice. Chi Cong hot bread conveniently located a in the centre of Lithgow CBD along Main Street. Offering a range of different pastries, pies , sausage rolls, cakes and cold beverages, along with pre made Vietnamese style rolls and freshly baked bread and bread rolls.

Friendly enough staff. Fairly priced. Street parking out front.
