If heaven had a smell, it would be this bakery—only with less incense and more butter. You walk in and are immediately greeted by staff who are so cheerful, you begin to suspect they’ve either won the lottery or are high on croissant fumes.
The pastries? Criminally good. I bit into a pain au chocolat and briefly blacked out. Woke up halfway through a cinnamon swirl with no memory of how I got there. The sourdough is so perfectly crusty, I considered apologizing to it for all the subpar bread I’ve eaten before.
Coffee is available too, but honestly, it’s just there to keep your hands warm while your mouth handles the real business.
Service is quick, efficient, and suspiciously friendly. One staff member offered to carry my tray and I almost cried.
Would I go back? I already live behind the counter now. They think I’m part of the staff.
