Update April 8, 2025: The restaurant is now under new management and have been open consistently. They also have a physical sign showing their hours and have been active on social media. Food has been great from what we've tried and you can ask the kitchen to make it spicy if you want it spicier or tone it down, if you don't like your spice. We will be back to try more of the dishes they have to offer, but so far, we've enjoyed the food. Hubby asked for extra spicy and his Tom Yum fried rice had a real kick to it.
2-stars: March 2025: Food is great but they have been closed every time we’ve been to try to eat there during the week for lunch since before Christmas of 2024. This is the fourth or fifth time we’ve tried only to find them closed. Might give up trying permanently. We drove past a few times seeing they were open but they’re not. At least not when we tried to go today about 1pm on a Monday, which according to their hours listed here, they should be open. No signs posted on the door. No hours listed in the shop front. Tried to call their mobile number listed on the shop sign, but no answer. They should update their open hours or at least answer the phone or put a sign on the door if they are going...
Read more(First part is a review i did 3 months ago)Food is very good, more traditional as it should be! Big portions and quality products, all fresh so will become are weekly take away again! Thank you! This is my review from today: everything has changed. The me ue shows little options for the more authentic, uncommen dishes we usually choose. My chicken noodle soup was so sweet it was barely eatable and the chicken could not be more dry. The green curry looks white and again everything overall is so sweet. So disappointed that from being authentic and fresh (almost like I could get it in Thailand when I stayed there for some time) to something super sweet and just againt he same dishes as all the other Thai restaurants in this area. Would not recommend at all and really whish I did not spend $80 there today. So sad to have lost a good...
Read moreIt's located very close to the Cessnock village. It is a small shop which looks like a takeaway shop but has some dine-in seating option as well. They offer lunch specials where the dishes are as cheap as $12.90, while the same options for the dinner menu are expensive and goes up to $20 offering a bigger portion. They are vegan and vegetarian options available on the menu and can be asked at the reception as well, for any special requirements. Staff person at the counter could have been better. The red curry dish with vegetables and tofu was amazing but the tofu was literally deep fried and oil spilling out of it. There is 1 hour parking available opposite to...
