Drove past this cute and quirky looking cafe while on holidays so we dropped in for quick coffee and lunch. Ordered a green bowl, bruschetta caprese, and French toast with labna and fresh fruits. Priced incredibly well and serving sizes were very generous. Meals tasted delicious and were fresh and satisfying. Coffee was good.
Was a warm day and aircon wasn’t coping for the size of the room so it was a bit hot and uncomfortable. The building was a bit pokey (walked through a kitchen area to get to the upstairs room) but it had lots of great, original features. Picture a decagonal (10 sided) room with old open fire place and stained glass windows but freshened up with a lick of modern paint and new flooring. The charm of the building added to the experience.
We noticed a great outdoor eating area too which would have been great if we had the kids with us. If we lived localy this would become one of our regulars. Highly recommend. Go and try for yourself and support this great...
Read moreI think I have found my new favourite cafe. I have visited three times in five days. This is very unusual for me. I keep trying to catch them out with bad food or slow service but that's just not happening! The courtyard area is so relaxing. It's shady with trees and lots of hanging plants. It seats about 40 people and each time I have been, this area has been about 75% full. The menu is so exciting with lots of interesting choices. So far, I've tried the Egyptian Eggs, Japanese Pancake and Chorizo & Potato with fried, chilli oil eggs. I've also sampled my husband's mushrooms on toast with poached eggs. Do I have a favourite yet? No! It's all too freakin' delicious! Coffee is from Glee Coffee Roasters - say no more. Freshly squeezed juice is also available. That's a huge tick from my other half. Service is very efficient and friendly. Lots of smiles and a short chat. Tables are cleared and reset in record time. I can't wait to return and work my way...
Read moreWe went to visit our family in Kincumber and they suggested this cafe where they live close by and we took everyone there this morning. The coffee was absolutely beautiful. We got to and then we got two for takeaway. We tried the Egyptian fried eggplant with poached eggs and that was just divine. The size the quality the freshness was awesome. And the service was absolutely fantastic. As soon as we walked in we were graded and offered to take a seat. The girls were very helpful and the boys were just as helpful. The food came on time nice and hot altogether. I had one of the smoothies and I gotta tell you that was one of the best things I’ve ever had. Looking forward to coming back and having Lunch here with all our friends and family. Thank you for an amazing breakfast. Looking forward to seeing you again, congratulations...
