Plant-Based Perfection with a Side of Puppy Love!
What a gorgeous find! We wandered into Next Door Espresso, Tweed Heads, and were greeted with sun-dappled tables, warm smiles, and the kind of laid-back coastal charm you secretly hope every café will deliver.
We ordered a flat white on almond milkâsmooth, rich, and expertly crafted. But the real delight? The Vegan Burrito. A warm, satisfying wrap stuffed with wild mushrooms, creamy avocado, melty vegan cheese, a golden hash brown, roasted capsicum, caramelised onion, and a bed of fresh greens. Every bite was balanced and flavourfulâcomfort food with flair, and at $18, a solid value for such a vibrant, nourishing dish.
And letâs not forget Corby, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who gave his enthusiastic paw of approval to the dog-friendly outdoor seating. Plenty of space, shaded spots, and a peaceful atmosphere made it just as pleasant for pups as for their people.
Five stars from all of usâtwo-legged and four-pawed alike....
Read moreHave been here a few times before and had good meals. This time ordered the eggs benny but because I'm vego I asked if I could please have haloumi instead of bacon. They were equal in price in the sides section so thought this would be fair, but server said no but that i could pay the additional price for the haloumi and they would just not include the bacon. I asked her if she could check with the kitchen but she wouldn't. I didn't want to pay for what I wasn't eating so ordered the Turkish eggs instead. The chilli was a bit much so really didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked as I'm not a big fan of chilli but was kind of put on the spot to pick something else at the register. Anyway just wanted to give people the heads up that it doesn't appear that they are flexible...
Read moreToday loved popping in as it has been a while. But is my always go to in Tweed when visiting my parents across the border. What lacks is I miss them serving MaccaMilk âčïž so I ordered just my usual iced latte but hold the milk (as I had my maccamilk on me prepared) but was still charged fully is a bit much. I was very sad to see all the GF options like banana breads were sold out as one of the reasons I love stopping by. So didnât get anything to eat sadly.
I do miss popping in to sit and eat as used to do this almost weekly when I was working last year. Sadly not in my budget to do so anymore but gosh it was lovely driving through to eat and have a quiet moment.
Always had something on the menu for me as coeliac to eat safely and be...
