Food was absolutely stunning. We had the Japanese style oysters, swordfish special and the seafood chowder. Seafood was super fresh and really good. I only eat delicious high quality seafood due to my Asian heritage and decades of fishing knowledge, and I don't really like frozen fish or fish and chips or other basic seafoods, so I generally avoid western style seafood. But I can tell this seafood was really top notch and it was the day's catch and the flavours goes so well together. I'm so glad we tried this place! The scallop in the chowder was so delicious, the best I've had. I was worried the chowder would be too creamy but it was really good. The bread goes so well with the dish. Needs a lot of pepper but maybe that's just me 🙊 My husband said the swordfish special was really good, the potatoes and salsa on the fish were perfect, and it was super filling even though the dish looks small. The oysters were absolutely deliciousss. I wish I could have had more but I'm not supposed to be eating raw seafood because I'm pregnant 😭. I really love oysters and these were 5-star quality and worth every dollar. The drinks were great too. I think the mocktail is overpriced because it was really basic flavours, though still good. It would be better in a larger portion for its price. My husband loved the martini and the cider. The staff are super friendly and attentive, and served us with a big smile. The restaurant was really busy but staff were very good. I booked online and asked for good seats and they delivered. I'm really happy with the service. Even though it is pricey, the high quality food with 5star service is worth it. I didn't get to try the dessert because I was too full but I will definitely be coming back for more oysters and to try the dessert next time. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here at Latitude 30. If you're contemplating if you should try this restaurant, this is your sign!! You won't be disappointed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's taken me a while to work out how to review this place after having our 47th wedding anniversary lunch here at the end of April. After an email from the restaurant and several back and forwards, I wrote my review and sent it to them. A summary is : even after pre booking and requesting a table with a view, we were seated inside, and walkins were given seats outside with far better views. A simple enquiry, when we arrived, would've given us the choice. We ordered a couple of celebratory drinks and then waited for the waiter to return to take our order. The oyster shooter arrived and was deliciously fresh. The seafood platter arrived, and the Japanese oysters were the shining star. Fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the bug was tasteless, and one of the prawns may have been left in the bottom of the bowl because it was quite soggy. The mains of seafood chowder and garlic prawns arrived. The garlic prawns were very tasty, but the seafood chowder, to use the words of the manager in his email to me, " a polarising dish," is very polite. If you like corn soup, this is great. To call it seafood chowder, just because it has pieces of overcooked fish and a couple of frozen prawns is a stretch. My wife couldn't detect any seafood flavour either. All this time, we were not asked if we'd like another drink. Both waiters appeared very busy, but the restaurant wasn't super busy. Even a simple question that required checking was forgotten. I was offered a $50 voucher had I been local to use on my next visit, but as I'm not I was advised to use my email so I received special attention next time. I have to commend them on this attention and enquiry about my experience. Obviously they do care, but if you're going to talk the talk, as per website, you should walk the walk.

Latitude 30... more like attitude 0. This was a thoroughly dissapointing engagement. We had specifically been looking at the highest rated restaurants in Coffs harbour and L30 was listed a must. Promising a fanciful seafood night out among the wharfs we booked to celebrate a milestone. Our waitress was abrupt and the ladies found her demeanour rude throughout the night. I can understand someone being a little more on the Ozzie don't take a bat side but in a resteraunt setting this was quite unexpectedly inappropriate. The food was next, presented so well and give Kudos to the chefs for the craft however the flavours and overall experience does not live up to the price. The oysters toppings were packed with flavour however the oysters themselves did not taste fresh and went down without enjoyment. Seviche was decent. The baked fish was delicious however the salad was drenched in dressing. The steaks were steaks no more than a pub classic. The gnocci was unfortunately a little on the gross side. Cooked to perfection again soft pillows with perfect crust. The flavour of parmesen overuled everything and made it taste off and the mushrooms were runny within the sauce. Didn't feel like a sophisticated pasta dish. The drinks were also average. Overall for the price of what the venue is trying to sell to you it really is an underwhelming and very overrated experience.

Wow!! We attended dinner for a 40th birthday celebration this week and we're blown away by the standard of service, cuisine and overall presentation of the restaurant. The seafood Thai curry was cooked to perfection despite having so many different types of seafood, definitely showed extreme attention to detail. The steak was marvelous, cooked perfectly. The gnocchi was delicate yet delicious. Sides were outstanding. Not ones to usually order dessert, we decided to try the lemon myrtle Panna Cotta. Fearing restraint, my expectations weren't high but I was beyond amazed! Every element in the dish worked perfectly together and matched each other brilliantly. The lemon myrtle flavour was prominent and beyond sublime. The entire dish was sheer brilliance and delight, and definitely personified the overall experience we had that night. Service was above and beyond, head and shoulders above any recent dining experiences I've had both in Coffs and Sydney. Chef Marcus and his team put on an outstanding experience, in an outstanding location with outstanding views. Very impressed!

Some menu choices were easy - Yellowfin Tuna Ceviche, or the seasonal Seafood Mezze Plate; we could have had more. For mains we were very indecisive, too many mouth-watering options. A seafood laden Yellow Curry with a unique flavour profile unseen in your local Thai restaurant OR a Spanner Crab Linguine with zest, and spice, and ample bursts of fresh cherry tomato to compliment the fresh seafood flavour of the spanner crab. But then it's not all seafood - the medium rare eye fillet was tender and perfectly cooked, but never made you forget you were eating a premium choice of red meat with that unmistakable full umami steak flavour. Thank you to our hostess, Holly, who gave us the low downs and inspiration to make some decisions on what is an incredible menu of fine dining options 🇦🇺🇨🇦

What a gem of a restaurant in a great location at the Marina with plenty of options on the menu plus friendly service. Been at the coast we were in a seafood mood, so we had the Scallops and Seafood Mezze to start which tasted great plus was perfectly cooked and looked fabulous. The scallops worked perfectly with the celeriac puree, roasted grape salsa and pistachio dukkah. With the Mezze the Balmain bug was so tasty and fresh, the Japanese oysters worked well with the Seeweed and the smoked trout pate was the perfect accompaniment. Sticking with the seafood theme, we had their special of Mussels for the main, they were fantastic matched by the perfect broth. Found the prices quite reasonable and definitely recommend dinning here if in the area.
