A very busy Macas but on the main highway heading north as you come into Coffs Harbour. Buy fuel and then stop for a quick bite at Macas or other eateries in this strip. I only stop for the coffee...don't like the food. One good thing was being able to be served at the counter instead if using the digital screens. The girls were all helpful and happy. I noticed the manager constantly checking everything out throughout the store and gave encouraging words to the girls in the Mcafe section. It was nice to sit on a cushioned seat that wasn't full of grease and a clean table. Although outside area was busy I managed to find a close by car park.

Despite relatively recent renovations its showing its age eg seat covers breaking up. Service is getting less and less as they severely cut back staff hoping we all use the automatic booths. Tonight no service at McCafe only sign asking uscto use auto orders or" find a friendly staff member". The manual counter staff were good but stretched as they not only took order but then had to do table delivery. At least this one does honour the free senior coffee without argument which are common at most McD these days eg Taree both town and Service Centre. Offers usual menu which no longer is cheap. Plenty of parking. Next door to a Gloria Jeans,Red Rooster,Oliver's, Subway etc so there is choice. Rubbish bin were full or over flowing probably again due to lack of staff.

Absolutely filthy bathrooms, and staff more interested in f**king about with each other than serving customers. The ladies bathroom had ill-fitting toilet seats, a sanitary disposal unit so dusty you wouldn’t use it if paid to, mirrors streaked with ‘cleaner’, the filthiest floors I’ve ever seen, and no hooks on any of the doors… Was I supposed to sit my handbag on the floor? Hard no. Oh, and the Dyson hand dryer crapped out after three seconds. A Dyson! Even it wanted to die in this place. My friend and I opted to leave without purchasing; the place was absolutely revolting, and clearly there were no adults in charge. Eat here if you want a free side order of hepatitis.

Every single time I have bought my burger from you it has been wrong. Never again! Three times now I have bought a cheeseburger and I have paid extra for extra onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard and every time I have received a normal amount of ketchup and mustard and NO pickles or onions!! Im kicking myself after the first two times that I didnt check before I left your store and didnt realise the burger was wrong until I was on the freeway. I guess my expectations should be low given that it is mcdonalds and the quality of food has become pretty poor over the years, but I do expect to get what I paid for!! Thank god i had some chips to add some flavour!

I understand the inconvenience of having to put through more than two orders per car in the drive thru but I've never been to a McDonald's that doesn't allow a maximum of TWO orders. It's not hard. I know from experience. Was told, instead, to drive around twice. Obviously we came inside and had the pleasure of witnessing the manager on staff yelling at everyone and just being generally loud and rude with her staff management. (Approx 6.30pm for anyone's reference) Everyone in store was pretty unimpressed. Our order of one burger and two lge fries also took 14 minutes when we were in a HURRY - hence the drive thru idea.

The staff was really not interested in doing anything(except talking to each other).The most annoying thing was when I ordered my coffee the staff stood there talking to her friend for literally 5 minutes,then went inside to talk to manager for some leave and then came back to my coffee.She made another order and waited 5 minutes before calling out to the customer. Bins all full,filthy place. Toilets dirty and no toilet paper.And this is all at around 11 in night. Worst experience ever. And we were a group of 15 people and everyone experienced the same thing. Ridiculous service,Ridiculous experience.
