So it’s a terrible cafe. The service is great, no issues there. Was served by a lovely pleasant woman. However, good grief - The food and the coffee from here are DIRE. We had a sausage roll and almond croissant, both dry as the Sahara desert and flavourless. The coffee…. Maybe the worst coffee I have ever drank in my life. Ordered a flat white and I still have it beside me waiting for it to cool down. It was like molten lava being handed to me. The place was busy so I assumed would be great but it appears it must be the only place open...

Thought I would try the gluten-free plain beef pies from here, as I’m Coeliac. They were EASILY THE BEST GLUTEN-FREE PIES 🥧 I have ever tasted. Good size, with a very tasty filling of quality minced beef with a nice gravy, encased in a firm pastry, served at perfect temperature. So good I bought three more to take home and store in the freezer. The two girls serving at the shop were lovely, too. Friendly, knowledgeable and enjoyed working there and interacting with customers. Wouldn’t hesitate to go...

Great range of pies that are fairly priced and packed with flavour. I had the Chilli and Cheese pie first and it was delicious. One handed pie that was the perfect temp and just the right amount of flaky goodness. Not served in foil which is a good sign!!!! I liked it so much I went back for a Steak Pepper pie and a Cherry pie for dessert. Both epic but I loved the Chilli and Cheese.
