Normally this is a great place for a family meal that we all enjoy, Fathers Day dinner changed this outlook for us. We had a table of 12, it was already busy which we knew it would be. We had a 30 minute wait just for our bread, and then our meals on top of that, that's fine, it was busy. However, my grand mothers meal came out before the rest of the tables bread was even ready (all placed at the same time, and on the same buzzer number), so she had finished her dinner and just had to wait for the rest of us to eat. We got up to collect our meals, 5 meals were missing and one order wasn't correct. One staff member was lovely and did try to rectify it all as fast as she could, however the other staff member was extremely rude toward us all and made sure we knew how inconvenient it was for her, even as far as my grand mothers meal wasn't there when meals were being counted (we explained it had come out earlier), this was then treated as if it were our fault and was an even bigger drama, despite it being stated we wanted bread first and all meals out together after. Will be reluctant to return during in busy...
Read moreA decent club venue, a lot of parking spaces. Staff are all friendly, professional with incredible mannerism. Restaurant menus are lovely and suit every kid and adult. Kids will definitely also love the ice creams that come with the kid’s meals. Meals are generous in size and delicious. Their daily specials posted only at the front counter is a happy surprise when you get there to order foods. Remember to join as members when you get there, it only takes you a few minutes and a few bucks, and the benefits are worth it, cos you get around 20% for your entire table bills. Apparently you can get a table for a large group (ours is 12) because their venue is spacious, but good to book in advance if you’re having a large group, the staffs there are more than happy to make it for you. You’ll leave the club most satisfying and memorable. Never miss this place when you’re holidaying in...
Read moreThe club management needs to have a good look at what's happening at the coal face. Twice we have been there and have found staff, that obviously don't want to be there, snappy, not happy staff, that treated us like it was a chore to serve us and make us feel we shouldn't be there. Well after today we won't be back. Last time we were there won a $25 club card at the raffle, today we ordered a Garlic Prawn Pizza $27.50 had the $2.50 extra to pay and were told the card would cover it, we got the Garlic Pizza, which was like the Garlic Bread not Garlic Prawn, valued at $15 not happy by we wore it, thinking there must be $10 left on the card to be ubruptly told you've used that, so with that we left never to return. The only reason you get 2 stars, was the lovely receptionist you had on today. So much for hospitality, there are plenty of great places in Cessnock just not...
