We arrived at the restaurant which had the ambience of a meat freezer. The only reason we didn't immediately leave is because we had called up and been assured their pizzas were woodfired.
We ordered a margarita pizza from the "gourmet" menu. The pizza was absolutely not woodfired. It had gloopy cheese, Aldi pasta sauce, and the premium gourmet roughly sliced tomato. There is no joke in saying that this pizza literally tasted like cardboard and had the texture of cardboard. There was not a single bit of any form of seasoning. No herbs, no salt, only grease.
I would describe it as a greasy and unflavoured version of a greasy fast food pizza.
I ordered a Greek salad as well. It was filled with baby spinach. I don't know what Greek person puts spinach in a Greek salad? I also found a nano fly in it. Other than that the salad was palatable.
I just wanna say the pizza was not finished. I literally couldn't eat it. It was so oily more oily than a Domino's pizza. Never again. I think it would be kind to even call the pizza I...
Read moreI do believe that it's better to say nothing than say something negative, but unfortunately $16 poorer I feel compelled to state that the large Capricciosa (Smoked pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, and Spanish onion) that we ordered to take away was not up to scratch. It was not very large (think Dominos $5 pizzas and very slightly increase the size), the toppings were meagre (think Dominos $5 pizzas, and then fractionally increase the thickness), and for $16 I expected more for my money than 4 olives looking very lonely on the top, and mushrooms mostly missing in action. I feel that the term 'Large' should mean what it says on the tin. Had to fill up with anything we could find in the fridge afterwards. Sorry, I don't like posting negatives, but I also don't like wasting $16 - lots of room for...
Read moreWorst spaghetti I've ever eaten. We walked in about 40 mins prior to closing. Ordered 1 garlic bread, 1 spaghetti bolognaise and 2 fanta's. We asked for parmasan in a bowl. The food came out, luke warm and SWIMMING in oil. The garlic bread came out a few minutes later, butter barely melted and we were given bamboo forks in a take away pack. (We were dining in). Not only was the parmesan on the spaghetti already, we were told we'd be charged $2 for the extra cheese. The food was SO oily it was like soup. We could not eat it. The bowls were left practically full. We now feel sick. Absolutely disgusting food, poor service and a total waste of money. Will be requesting a refund tomorrow and will accept nothing less. If I could give...
