A room left locked at 45degrees as we entered, with a minuscule aircon capable of cooling a pair of hands at best.||Wowee it really is back to 1960.||The total blanket of smudge and grime over aircon filters shows it has not been serviced for at least a decade .||Don’t get me wrong I love the vibe of the dangerously illegal but cool balustrade upstairs. Did no one notice?||||Similarly I find endless curious musings about how each bug in the pool may have chosen that water to land and how they still lay, but it has been a hot day.||||I especially love the price. Almost the same as a camp site if you book with boo king dot com. ||||A great dive into how things were. Imagine arriving in an HQ with no aircon and finding this?||||I am still trying to understand exactly why they put a single stiff steel pole just inside the door as a feature||Structural specs of the time or rounded creativity??||||Anyway I suggest you bunk in before this kind of accom goes the way of the dinosaur, but maybe not after a 45 degree day.||||My son said as he went to bed, I kid you not ‘ why did they leave the electric blanket on ‘.||||It is all baked, hence this 1am review under the ceiling fan with fingers crossed for some more breeze.||||||By the way this is my first motel review. ||||I love the cheapest in town and salute regardless. It helps everyone to find pocket money for a real luxury dash just now and then .||||Friendly manager with big beads of sweat ....

I had a pretty bad experience with booking. I booked a room for early check-in 2 weeks ago, but when I arrived no reception. Tried to call them several times but no answer. So I thought the reservation hasn't gone through because I haven't got any confirmation email or text. I had to book another motel.

Same day 8:34 PM I got a text message for key location and charged me for my booking. This happed on Saturday. I called them on Monday and tell the story of what happened and ask for a refund. The lady talked to me was so rude and refused to refund any. My point is to be careful when you provide your credit card details for this kind of motels. Also, get a confirmation of your booking beforehand. Don't trust them. This is my worst experience with motels and I had to pay...

We booked one night which cost $200 for a family room. It was really worth about $120 at best. Run down and in need of love. Paint flaking of the walls in both the main room and bathroom, the tap in our room leaked when you turned it on. None of the curtains closed as they had all come of the rails. I wouldnt be surpirsed if the smoke alarms are not hard wired I didn't see them blink once. If there is nothing else give it a go. Its very basic and the price isn't as budget for what you get. The kids room where accessed via the shower/toilet room which even my 4 year old remarked at the broken tiles.

It very dated and needs a good reno, however the hand written welocme note and free bottled water was a nice...

Location is fine for a small town, 15 min walk to closest pub. Air cons “work” but they’re ancient so they don’t actually cool the room ever. The fan didn’t work in the ceiling. Water tastes horrible out of tap. There was no door to the bathroom but instead a shower curtain and the water took 10mins to get hot and then it was scorching and couldn’t get it cooler again - both times. Pool wasn’t dirty dirty but wasn’t clean either. Staff are lovely and helpful. Would only stay here again if work paid for it or it was a last resort.

We arrived around midnight and they organized the key in the safe and sent us the clear and friendly message with the pin number. Room was old and small but clean and price was very reasonable. We stayed for just sleep, so we didn't mind the size. Very close to the main highway. We will use again when we visit Melbourne (from Sydney). If you book direct on their website, you can use 6% off voucher.
