Taste of Asia Shellharbour — Restaurant in New South Wales

I really wanted to like this place. Today I ordered 2 of the pork belly bento boxes for my roommate and myself. We lived in the area which covered free delivery so we thought we'd give it a shot since it seemed like a bit of bang for your buck. The food arrived on time which was great and we were able to pay via card upon delivery. We open up then boxes and firstly notice our order was meant to have a 5 piece mixed entree yet there was only 3. Tempura pumpkin and a spring roll (which were both tasty), however the curry puff had this overly thick pastry on the edge which wasn't plesent. The pork was the star of the show we were looking forward too yet there wasn't much of it and it came slavered in this overly sweet slightly gelatinous sauce. Needless to say it was revolting and no mention of any sauce on the menu item. It also came with a huge side of the sauce too. Finally we gave the soup a go. It had no taste at all. I dont enjoy leaving harsh reviews but we ordered this food 2 hours ago and my friend and i have been lying on the couch in pain and discomfort from what we had ingested today. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is the price and speed of the order otherwise taste has to be the worst Asian cuisine...

I had dinner at Taste of Asia Thai Food yesterday evening and it was an excellent experience! The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming ambiance, perfect for a relaxing meal. The staff were friendly and provided prompt service, making us feel well taken care of.

I was extremely disappointed, not with the food as I never had an opportunity to try it. I booked a table for two, for a special occasion in the morning and the booking was confirmed after several people on the end of the phone spoke to each other about it. About 1 hour before we were to arrive I received a phone call saying that they didn't have a table for us. This left me gob smacked.
