The Fern & Anchor — Restaurant in New South Wales

Stopped by for a coffee after seeing reviews and I could not recommend this place more. Their XL coffee is one of the biggest size I've seen, and actually quality. The steak sanga with a side of jalapeno relish hit the spot and is a huge serving. The zucchini fritters were packed with flavour, and that's coming from someone that rarely orders a vegetarian option.

If that wasn't enough, the service from the staff was the cherry on top. We asked about halal options to which they weren't sure. Shortly after, the chef mentioned he contacted their meat supplier and found out both the chicken and beef were from a halal supplier. Their eagerness to look into this and even comment about doing more research about what halal is as we were leaving was above and beyond.

This place is run by a beautiful couple that put heart and soul into their food and service. Loved the chicken schnitzel- The most moist chicken breast I can remember having. I arrived at 1:30 and was politely told they closed at 2. The waitress was hospitable and I was told to take my time. I will definitely come back for breakfast. The ingredients were fresh and the flavour plentiful. Worth the drive and I hope more locals find out about it and support small business that is run with love.

Lovely atmosphere with indoor and...

We found this place whilst Googling "fish and chips near me". Just as well. My partner is very particular with her coffee and they make excellent coffee. The steak sandwich is delicious. Everything on it is so fresh. Yet to have the fish and chips but definitely next time. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Cosy atmosphere with a courtyard. No problems with parking.
