Thai Corner Restaurant — Restaurant in New South Wales

Went to dinner as a group of 8 people on a Saturday night and we were very disappointed. When we arrived No one came over and offered their service. We had to ask to order our food which we were then told we could only order entrees at this time ....Ok no problem. We ordered some entrees (4 entrees) 1 hour later they came out, separately....then nothing. No one came to clear our table, No one came to order our mains. So we have been there for 1.5 hours and some people at the table are yet to even touch food. We had to ask to order our mains, we ordered. Then the kids meals came out which was fine, half an hour later another meal came out. Then nothing. We had to ask where our meals were and were told that the chef can only cook 1 meal at a time. So we all ate seperately, did I mention the table didn't even have cutlery? It was an absolute shambles. I did complain to the front desk girls and they offered 10% off our bill, well that's nice of you. But this was a birthday dinner disaster. I'm not usually one to complain let alone complain publicly. But this was a very disappointing experience. This used to be our favourite Thai restaurant and I must add the food was nice. Booked 2x days before for 17 people, no problems with booking :) was celebrating sons 18th bday. Food was really great however service, drink selection and cleanliness was disappointing. There were coloured strobe lights over our table which was not set up even though we had booked, these made it hard to see what we were eating.
