SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. EXTREMELY RUDE & INCONSIDERATE OWNER/MANAGER. WE WERE IN THE SHOP WHEN A STORM KNOCKED OUT THE POWER & HAD TROUBLE PAYING WITH CREDIT CARD. OFFERED TO DO A DIRECT BANK TRANSFER OR HAVE A RELATIVE COME & PAY WHEN POWER BACK ON AS WE LIVE OUT OF TOWN IN REMOTE AREA. WOULD NOT ACCEPT ANY ALTERNATIVE & WE LEFT EMPTY HANDED WITH $100 WORTH OF MEAT STILL SITTING ON THE COUNTER TO DO US FOR THE NEXT WEEK. WE ALSO ASKED ABOUT A GENERATOR FOR BACKUP TO DO THE TILL, MEAT FRIDGES ETC, BUT WERE TOLD “NO WE DON’T BOTHER WITH ANYTHING LIKE THAT.”- DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO THEIR MEAT IF POWER GOES OFF FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. HAVE SHOPPED REGULARLY AT THIS BUSINESS SINCE THEY OPENED. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED IN THEM!!

In response to reply from owner: The meat was already weighed. Some items had price labels on them, and we couldn’t even pay for those, which we could have done with cash. All we got from owner & staff was “it’s not our store policy, it’s not our store policy”. All we did was try to offer solutions so we could have our meat, but they just weren’t interested. Just very poor customer service no matter which way...

I tried ordering online and there was no option. Then I tried calling to place an order for some meat for Xmas day and was told that I had to do it in-store. When I turned up an hour later I was told that there wasn’t any point to ordering and to just come in on Xmas eve. I was literally standing with money in hand ready to order and not risk missing out and basically was shown the door. It’s a gorgeous looking store, great branding and from the looks of it the meat probably tastes good but the customer service wash shocking and the lack there-of makes buying...

We brought a tray of crumb steak for $28 it had $4 worth of paper thin steak and $24 worth of crumb and batter , an absolute joke with the cost of living to be robbed buying so called quality meat , you guys need to have a good look at yourselves , never purchased such crap my dogs didn’t even eat it . When we phoned them to put in a complaint the so called manager on the day so happened to be to busy . We are massive meat eaters and we will be taking our business...
