West Tamworth League Club — Restaurant in New South Wales

Staying on site, went to Blazes for lunch 2 steak sandwiches excellent meal even if a bit pricey. Had breakfast package with the Mercure went into Blazes for breakfast, it was like a completely different venue. The young lass behind the counter was polishing/sorting cutlery and threw her heard back we I approached the counter to pick up a menu she then went about her previous task while we made our choices. When I approached the counter to order she threw the tea towel she was using onto the workbench as though she had been interrupted again, when I asked if she was having a bad day she just pushed on with what do want to order. There was no orange juice, my wife’s fried eggs were under cooked with runny clear egg whites when they were return to be properly cooked it was met with what do you want us to do with these, my wife simply asked that they be cooked on top. When the meal was returned to our table it was slid across the table with “there you are” no sorry about that, nothing. While I admire the Club for employing people with challenges, they need to be trained as others are about all aspects of hospitality. Willing to give the venue another go, just to see if this young lass has improved here customer...

Jimeoin TONIGHT was okay. Staff were unprepared, untrained, Uneducated, and bored!

Customer service needs MAJOR ATTENTION!! & adjusting. Focusing on;

Empathetic & caring attitudes towards ALL customers, Whether; -/+ male/female, Old/ Young, Black/White Religious belief etc. ETC..

I've been a member of this club, for 25 years now. And seen plenty of other club's in NSW/QLD and what the others have to offer. Value for money wise.

(Food/drink/beverages/service/ care factor/ empathetic staff/ able to communicate effectively/ have staff dedicated to the elderly and lonely population whom built this club to begin with.)

It was our ancestors, whom built Australia. Aussies BUILT Aussie, just remember that, you rich snobs!

Our broke grandma's and grandpa's, drank and spent ALL our INHERITANCE There.....

(((Just, reminder to your bar staff, and their foul attitude!!)))/// (From nothing more than a piece of land, a slab of wood, and some bricks & Mortar mix.) Mind you, A bucket load of blood, sweat, & tears, were also required!)

The club itself is great. Great meals, great facilities.....BUT.....Their membership provides NOTHING in the way of their Courtesy Bus. If you want to spend a night at this club, you better have taxi fare both ways. The response for the bus is always "No, sorry. Too many other jobs." And I live less than 3kms away! Thankfully it's not that far, but I pity anyone that has to pay further. Why pay membership to save $0.60 per beer just to spend $30 to get there and home again? Useless.

And then they advertise UFC PPV fights all over the place, just to put other events on every TV, with UFC only on one TAB TV, and one TV in the smoking area of the pokie room, with no sound on either!!

Seriously. Nice place and facilities, polite bar staff, welcoming atmosphere....But completely let down by the lack of attention to the things that get some people there in the first place. Seems like a place that really used to care, but then made money and realised that they didn't need to...
