I ordered Satay chicken with noodles. I didn't expect the best satay I had ever had in my life, but I was still disappointed. About 5 pieces of chicken, a lot of noodles and virtually no flavour. I really didn't want a standard fast food, but I am very much regretting my choice now. Not disgusting, just without taste. Oh, and a $1 surcharge for any card transaction under $20. I was at $19.50, so guess I should have added something to my order to get over the line. If you're thinking Bellygood for a good, quick feed, think again. Go to Coles and get a cheese and bacon roll. Much cheaper and more flavour.

The special fried rice is good and my partner loves the noodles here. We’ve ordered food twice here now. Prices are reasonable (I think $14 for medium and $16 for large). The medium fried rice is large enough for 2 meals for myself.

A nice Asian(Chinese) restaurant in such a small and quiet town. Taste is excellent compared those dishes I ate in Hong Kong. Price is very competitive and reasonable. Highly recommended.

We're on a weekend trip to the Hunter Valley from Sydney and my parents who prefer Chinese food were looking for similar Asian eateries in the area. Bellygood had a couple of customers inside on an otherwise very quiet Saturday evening so we walked in. It was a mistake. Our group of four ordered 2 combination fried noodles, a fried kwai teow and a seafood laksa. We were aware that Asian food in regional towns may be more tailored towards local tastes, but even then we were still disappointed. The fried noodle dishes were very greasy and had too much sodium (salt and MSG). My parents who had the noodles struggled to finish their food and were constantly drinking water well into the night from having a dry mouth. The laksa I ate had a very bland soup with almost no spices in it and only a trace amount of coconut milk. The only positives I can say about this place are: the free bag of prawn chips from spending over $60. They were crispy and savoury and pretty good. price is cheap relatively to other eateries in the area. But overall there are better and more authentic Asian restaurants in Cessnock for only a few dollars more per dish, that I don't think I'll go to...

The service was good but the food was just a giant bowl of noodles and no flavour, my partner called his meal “a waste of money”. If you want a few mouth fulls of meat, a few slivers of onion and 3 slivers of carrot, no flavour then eat here. But if you’re from outside of Cessnock and know what other noodle restaurants offer don’t expect it from here. Someone else has a good review with pictures and you can literally just see a bowl of noodles hardly anything else. I’m actually baffled the locals think this is good… to end on a good note, the small serving of meat wasn’t chewy, just tasted like...
