seriously...so good! was visiting newcastle from sydney and just came across this place. i've had my fair share of hyped syd pastries but nothing beats this. if anyone saw me eat the apple turnover im so sorry something overcame me and i almost ate my finger. staff are so lovely and genuine and the place itself isn't doing too much. nice and chill - staff are working calmly and chatting to customers in a non-obnoxious way. i overheard someone point to a pastry and say 'i'll have this one' to which the staff responded 'do you know what's in it?' and it just sounded so real, like they wanted them to enjoy what they were ordering. the maple bacon hit the spot in a way i didn't think pastries could. am i deeping this? maybe (no). should you join the queue and get crumb? yes. back...

CRUMB is one of the best pastry shop I’ve had so far! I flew over from the west coast to visit my friend in Newy and she recommended this place for me. First of all, love the presentation of the pastries. We ordered hot honey chorizo, banoffee inspired croissant and pandan coconut. My favourite one is the hot honey chorizo and cheese pastry. If you love sweet and savory combination, try this. I also like they put some of the corriander seeds on top (if I am not wrong). For the sweet ones, I personally prefer the pandan and coconut. It was so pretty and the filling is not too sweet!
