Supreme Espresso Lambton- Cafe Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Every time I’ve ordered coffee here, it has been made to world’s hottest temperature. Even when I’ve asked to have it somewhat drinkable, they still have trouble with the simple request. The customer service is non existent really. I came here because there was nothing else open, busy as expected the guy said 15ish minutes. Well I think he assumed I had all of the time in the world because I came back about 5 times and when it got to about 40 minutes, I saw he was giving out coffee to people that were about three people behind me in the line. When I finally got the attention off him, he gave me a smirk. I’m not too sure why. I asked for a refund since he had not even started on my order. It was a sunny day with a mild breeze crawling from the open windows. The view of the township and the gentle jazz music in the background while waiting for my lunch was an experience I’d want it again in any day. The orange juice was fresh and takes like an orchards. That only brought back memories from my childhood when I used to mess around in our orange farm. The burger was a breathtaking. I don’t know all the components that came with the lettuce, cheese, tomato and the bbq meat but one thing was evidently clear that the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Me and my partner went in with good expectations from the cafe with the good reviews on Google. Mind you, the location is great, atmosphere is good! I really liked the setting of the cafe! Unfortunately couldn’t say the same for the food and drinks. The coffee was runny, extremely runny and I couldn’t taste any coffee in it just oat milk. The salmon had already gone bad when the bagel was served and my friend got sick the afternoon. Dont get me wrong, there’s good potential with the cafe but just did not enjoy our first visit.
