Good pide. However, the restaurant was out of a lot of options on our visit. And it looks pretty sad. Only takeaway available. There are 6 curries on the menu, but only 3 were actually on offer. They were out of eggplant for the eggplant pide. 🍆 And I didn't even bother with a falafel kebab because the toppings on offer were fairly basic (no pickles or the like, just lettuce, onion and tomato). There is an entire room that's completely empty with the light out, I assume you used to be able to sit there? In any case, we had ours takeaway. Cheap prices. The pide we had were tasty and the staff friendly.

Have to update my review as quality dropped considerably and the pizza that I used to enjoy has tasted only slightly better than cardboard the last couple of times. Also they have been cheapening out on toppings with barely any taste from the toppings. Lastly given the quality (or lack of) the price is no longer justifiable sadly. I don’t recommend dining inside as place is a bit depressing smelly, definitely could be way cleaner and exciting. Feels more like a basement

What an awful experience.

I waited over 45 minutes for two kebabs — far too long for a simple takeaway order, and not once did anyone offer an update or explanation.

As I was finally leaving, I overheard the owner say he didn’t have some ingredients. I asked if that applied to my order — and it did. At no point during the 30+ minutes I was standing right in front of him did he think to mention it. When I asked why, he just said, “There’s nothing I can do about it.”

To top it off, the food was cold by the time I got home — and I only live two minutes up the road. I have no idea how that’s even possible after such a long wait.

Poor communication, no accountability, and cold food after nearly an hour of waiting?...

*self confessed kebab connoisseur

I've had kebabs all over Australia and Europe, and this place was in the top 5 I've ever gone to for the quality of the kebab. The kebab bread was beautifully soft and crisp without being too doughy. The meat was juicy and moist. Salads were super fresh. Cheese melted properly and evenly around the outer of the kebab, as well as non stingy amounts of sauce in the right ratios. I could go on for a while.

I ended up coming back the day after as I thought it might have been a one off. However, next days kebab ended up being ever better somehow !. Next time I'm passing through Newcastle I'll be...

Husband and I had the chefs own special pide!!! Not on the menu but was offered because the man over the counter who made it for us noticed that I don't know what to order :) and i said yes and i trust his recommendation. I was glad I took the offer because it was delicious and plenty for 2. Paid $18.00. We had it at Stockton ferry parking, car facing water and Newcastle. I would recommend Kebabville's special pide. I didn't get the name of the lovely man's name over the counter. Thank you for your friendly customer service. Keep it up!!! Sorry, we forgot to take a photo because we finished it in no...
