McDonald's — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Myself and my sister decided to come here today Wednesday 8th February 2023 for lunch and got the McDonald’s app deal which is 18 nuggets and 2 large chips which came out how we ordered freshly cooked and hot so no complaints about the food today thankfully and was out pretty quickly which is even better, Unfortunately only 1 staff member Pam I think her name was she’s either the restaurant owner or a senior restaurant manager but she was only person who I witnessed to be friendly and polite towards us and other customers which was also very nice to see sadly all the other young girls working mostly the ones in the red shirts were rude to customers and simply looked like they didn’t want to be at work not answering people in a polite manner especially towards one customer they told her the self service ordering machines wasn’t spitting out the the receipts and instead of saying thank you for letting us know I will inform the manager she just said yep okay with absolutely no eye contact kept looking around her or under the counter and when the customer also thank you to her politely after getting their food she said the same thing yep and with no smile and or answer of that’s okay or anything just turned her back and started doing other stuff which I thought was quite rude and disrespectful I say if you don’t want to be at work then don’t come in and have that rude attitude towards customers and also the boss or managers, I highly recommend the freshly cooked food though and thank you to Pam for polite and friendly today ....

Sadly i have to write a 1 star review for Glendale McDonalds. We have used them handful of times through Menulog, and every single time they forget something from the order, the most recent one being the hotcakes from an order with just

Large Hotcakes meal, with Caramel Frappe Egg Bacon Muffin Nuggets Large coke.

So they can see that on their screens, and some how they delivered the egg and bacon muffin, the nuggets and coke, they also some how supplied the Caramel frappe and hasbrown from the Hotcakes meal, but magically forgot the hotcakes.

I completely understand if it was in store, and they miss heard the order, but this was from an online order, with a receipt, all they had to do was follow a checklist and some how still missed items.

As i said, this was just the most recent, i have never had an order been received from glendale without SOMETHING missing. And their only action they can provide is to make you come down and pick up the item they forgot.

So basically i won't be ordering from Glendale anymore, because they are unable to fulfil orders without making mistakes and the only way to get the items you ordered is at your own cost to go down and get them. If that was me at my job constantly making mistakes i would fired, i am not sure why this is completely tolarated at this store.

Again, i am sorry for writting such a negative review, but if these aren't brought up, things will never change, and hopefully this makes other customers be very careful and choose wisely and maybe shop...

Hi there your restaurant was a disaster first your self service machine was not printing a receipt second the lady was so rude at the counter I ask for a Aloli wrap I fixed it it was wrong on the receipt we needed them to retrack the receipt third they was kids that working there and she tired to help us but she did fixed it they did not know and then I saw the receipt and they messed it up and then they took so long like 15 minutes and then said my wrap is defrosting it would have been easier to go through the drive thru and then I said chocolate not vanilla and they said ok let me change it it would still taste like chocolate I took a sip it tasted like soap I go back inside they said a chocolate frappe when they said it was not working and the store manager was always fast always dropping chips and then i went back out and when I opened my chips was not all there and my hamburger was messy and my belly was sore so I will not be coming back to your restaurant no matter what this is the second time you do this I would not be coming back thanks Wednesday 31 July 2024 at...
