Namaste Indian — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Ordered at 5pm yesterday on DoorDash with it contstantly saying the order was being prepared, I rang doordash for help and they said they couldn't cancel or I wouldn't get a refund due to it being in the preparing stage (for an hour and a half by this stage).

I rang the store multiple times to follow up on the order, and they never answered. By around 7pm, I finally got the notification that it was on its way with an instant notification saying the order was completed, but the order had never arrived. I'm VERY disappointed as we usually order from Namaste, but I won't be again as they tried to take my money without delivering anything!

I'm also disappointed in the DoorDash customer service as they provided minimal help to try and get a hold of the store and the fact that they didn't cancel the order and refund after such a huge wait time! I ended up getting credits, but by the time I received them, we had to make do with what...

I had indian Birani before but not this real Birani yummy one which we 4 of family member tested from Namaste from East Maitland Scotland Greenhills shopping centre . We visiting here from Sydney so we had lamb and chicken Birani with mild hot as well nun bread /roti with ryta. Yummy Birani and soft nun . Very testy real indian Birani test I wanted to try waited for long though had indian Birani before but this Birani is the best (every week I do cook Birani as well for my children but mine are different test and I wanted try something different but yummy and .This Birani was best we bought again as well yesterday takeaway and it is yummy testy Birani lamb Nd chicken both type of Birani my two adult children and my husband we like it very much . Again will try next time might be voting Maitland only to try this Birani as well num an Chicken...

I booked and ordered catering from Namaste Indian east Maitland for my housewarming party, from the beginning till the end organising the catering Karan was very helpful and resourceful delivering my needs. Karan and his team prepared food for 40 people the food was very delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. All of my guest who came from Sydney for this function were Gob smacked by the taste of the food. They also complimented that they have tried Indian food in Sydney which are not a great deal but trying the food from Namaste Indian it had consistency and authenticity in flavour. Very generous serving portions and I would like to thank Karan and his team for making this event successful.I would also recommend this restaurant...
