Oporto Kotara Westfield — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

My husband and I just came out of Oporto Kotara, in the home-maker centre. All the tables and chairs had been used and not clean. Actually disgusting. I cleaned one for us both to sit at. The 3 or 4 staff that were on, were out the back talking, whilst we waited for a young man to come out and serve us. I must admit the young boy was polite but had no idea how we can change our details on our rewards card. We sat down and another customer came and waited whilst they were talking and laughing out the back and the customer had to yell out for some service.. Not good enough Oporto But I was more angry about the tables and chairs being filthy whilst they were chitchatting out the back, and should have had all the tables and chairs cleaned.. also not good enough. The food was as expected but the service is terrible. The two girls that we dealt with were absolutely clueless about the product that they were selling. I literally lost brain cells trying to explain what part of the chicken I wanted with my meal. Add to that the three staff members that moved back and stood directly in front of the fridges staring at us while my daughter was trying to see what drink she wanted.
