I stayed here overnight with my partner as we had to attend to a 30th in New Lambton. When we arrived we weren't sure where the reception is. The reception is situated inside the post office next door to the tavern, there's a separate door.
The staff was some young adults (probably in their 20's) and they were super friendly.
They advised that we pay on the way out so they'll take your details and pass the card key to your room.
The room was nice and ideal for us. The bathroom was HUGE.
If you park at this place, best to do it across the street (there's a small car park area for you to park unlimited hours) cause there's only 1 hour parking at the front of the tavern

Breakfast comes from the same kitchen but you can basically sit in the bar area to eat it. It was also great. The staff were amazing, very kind and helpful. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and the cost...

There is a small number of secure parking under the building, and a few more secured parking spots in the hotel parking lot across the road. Parking is free. Wifi is also free - very useful. I just want to make special note of two staff, Troy and Lesley, who were particularly helpful. I had an accident in the car park (another hotel patron had hit my car and did a runner). They helped to review CCTV footage and sort out the problem...
