Dad absolutely loves his pies, pastries and cakes. So when he was recently diagnosed as coeliac it was a bit of a struggle adjusting to his new diet requirement and finding places in the area that could fill the void. We were recommended the blind baker by another takeaway that offer gluten free options and were really glad they recommended this place because everything was great. Their pies are huge and filling and of the highest quality meat used. Their gluten free dessert offerings is wide and really delicious. They’re also very generous and threw in free GF buns and cookies the first time we visited and it was really appreciated. Highly recommend to all, especially those requiring GF options.

Fantastic 100% gluten-free bakery, I bought the beef in red wine pie and sat in the cafe and ordered coffee. The pie was delicious the macadamia caramel slice was a perfect choice to have with coffee. They have a huge range of gluten free products that are frozen so take home and heat up when you want them. A great range of breads as well. So I highly recommend this bakery if you are celiac or not my husband enjoyed the pies as well.

I’ve been here a few times in the past and it was always good! However last week I ordered a vanilla slice and it was very disappointing. The custard was full of gelatine, with no flavour, it didn’t even squash. It bounced back. I could not eat it, it was awful. I don’t recommend vanilla slice from here.

Very disappointing visit. It Bears no resemblance to their website. Was really looking forward to visiting and sampling some freshly baked gf products, to be greeted by a hand written sign that they were short of gf flour so limited product. Rude impersonal service, seemed an impost that we had even visited. We were told that they keep all their gf products in the freezer to keep them fresh - in a bakery that says they bake fresh onsite on their website??? 🤷‍♂️ clearly a lie if all their gf stuff is frozen. Apparent they’d had a busy day yesterday so didn’t have much product today🤷‍♂️ Gf Lemon slice on display for sale, only to be told when I ordered a piece that ‘oh sorry that shouldn’t be there, that’s not for sale’! 🤷‍♂️ Purchased a cob loaf - frozen of course ! And expensive to boot - a croissant, a small slice of Rocky road and a frozen cob loaf … $30! Taste not worth it BTW. Save yourself the trouble and money, it seems they’d prefer customers don’t visit. This is no gluten free bakery, and not even a good gf...

GLUTEN FREE HEAVEN!!!! Were in Newcastle for a wedding and found this place. HOLY HELL it was great.

The staff were SO nice and gave us free samples to try, and even a free loaf of GF bread to take away. Everything was spectacular; in particular, my wife LOVED the Peanut Butter brownie - and I went gaga for the Caramel macadamia slice. The pizza was also spectacular.

Oh my freaking god, it's amazing. Do yourself a favour and get out to this place. Just note they only do the GF baking a couple of days a week, I know Saturday morning is good but don't remember the other days.

GO, GO GO - places like this need...
