Placed an online order through food hub as a preorder yesterday afternoon delivery. When it was over 30 minutes over the delivery time I rang the restaurant and was rudely told “it’s on its way” and hung up the phone. When taking the food out of the bags I realised there was a main dish missing. I called back the restaurant and was told “yes we don’t have them today” I explained that they should have call me as we were now a dish down for the people having dinner with us. Then I realised the poppadums were missing so called again and was told I’d be given a credit. I said no I wanted the popadums then they hung up the phone. When the popadums (with a tub with cash in it for the missing dish) arrived the food was cold and had to be microwaved and just the whole experience and the tasteless food have left us rather let down especially when my order was just shy of $200. A phone call, a sorry and a compensation for the whole situation should have been done but no. Ghandas, I used to highly rate you. But...
Read moreWent there with my girlfriend, food was alright. However the price was ridiculously unacceptable and misleading when the bill was out. The price of the dishes were actually 10% extra compared with the menu, which they explained that they had already justified by having a sign sticked on the window. But the thing is the sign was facing inwards to the restaurant and we were not notified before we ordered, which means there is no way we will know. Menu says plain rice per person is 3 dollars. However got charged by 16 dollars for 2 people, as I asked for refill and they were charging 4 dollars for plain rice per person instead. This ofcourse wasn't notified in the beginning as well.
Will never ever go back. Sapphire is much cheaper and nicer than this. Stingy and tricky owner with...
Read moreSorry. Your curries are still top notch. But, when I enter a restaurant to order and hear about your current financial problems (when for years you have milked your quality and prices) I get a bit over it. Not only that. When returning to an empty restaurant after a 25-35 min wait with no staff providing service, to than be told you have increased your prices due to inflation....I draw the line...I very much dislike giving bad reviews...but this is an exception. The Naan, and boiled rice together cost over $15. The butter chicken over $25. The pictures, unfortunately show the poor quality of the Naan and a normal serve of rice. Sorry, but if this is it. It's time to move...
