Seasons Steakhouse — Restaurant in Newman

Where to start.. how about at the entrance. Where you will stand around at the "please wait to be seated sign" while the staff aimlessly wander around, occasionally looking at you as if to ask "what are you doing here?". Don't forget your spectacles because there's a little sign there to tell you that your cash money is no good there.

To make this review more digestible than the forgettable food served here I'll keep it short. The waits are long, the staff have a million better things to do, and the food would be more at home at a roadhouse. Average cuts of meat served alone and at a huge mark up compared to the pubs in town which quite honestly leave Seasons Steakhouse in the dust as far as service and quality. The harsh Newman tap water that is slapped on the table will convince you it was scooped from the pool out back. Surf and Turf is not an optional add on, it's its own meal, and ONLY available with rump steak. You'll be left wondering where all this money is going because it certainly isn't going toward hiring more disinterested backpackers to reduce the lengthy wait times or improving the quality of the meals. Walked in and asked for table for 3, have you got a booking, no, made to wait in foyer, there was 2 tables occupied and at least 10 empty, got our table and they still had to set it. Next night thought we would do the right thing and book. Walked in, have you got a booking, Yes, outside booking we have for you, NO, still had to wait while they sorted that out. They were busy that night, had 4 tables occupied, sat down and they still had to come over and set it. Moral of the story, you are not that posh to have a booking system, if you are use...

I must say, the food I was served today was out of this world for a place that’s in a WA mining hub in the dessert.

I was served a T-Bone steak which was recommended by the staff member at the front.

It was out of this world amazing! I travel around for work all year long and have visited a lot of steak houses around regional Australia.

Seasons Steakhouse, I hope you feel honoured to have served me the best steak I have ever eaten on my travels.

I would recommend everyone to try the steaks here!
