I recently migrated to Darwin from India. As we all know, the very first prime need of an individual is food. Being away from homeland, I was craving for Indian food . So when I made an effort to find the good Indian restaurant, fortunately I came across Indian Curry Paradise at Casuarina in Darwin. I am writing this review based on 3 months of delighful (WoW) experience at Indian Curry Paradise. The hospitality of the restaurant founders coupled with yummy food being served cheerfully in a pleasant ambience is something one should personally experience at Indian Curry Paradise. The consistency demonstrated in delivering the quality food with mouth-watering taste is simply amazing. I could figure out the strong passion in the entire team of Indian Curry Paradise to always delight the customers with the delicious food. I am sure this very approach towards the customers will definitely take Indian Curry Paradise to a greater height very shortly. I have been to many restaurants but this restaurant stands a class apart from the rest. This review is not an exaggeration but the spontaneous overflow of expressions of a delighted customer. I am blessed to have the ‘Home Away From Home’ experience at Indian Curry Paradise and I thank God for this blessing. Before I bid adieu, let me extend the sincere token of thanks to the founders and every team member of Indian Curry Paradise. May the mighty hands of God be with you all the time and empower you to delight more and more customers every day. May God Bless Indian...
Read moreI am very disappointed with my recent order of 5 plain naans from Indian Curry Paradise (via Uber Eats). I specifically ordered plain naan, but what I received were mostly butter naans, with only one that looked plain. This is misleading and unacceptable.
The quality was also very poor. Some pieces felt like leftovers from the previous day — dry, tough, and not fresh at all. The sizes were completely inconsistent; some were very small, others larger, showing no standard at all. In fact, this is not the first time I have faced issues. My last order also had naans that were completely burnt and inedible.
When I pay $32.50 for just bread, I expect fresh, properly made, and consistent food. Instead, I am being given low-quality and misrepresented items. If this continues, I will be forced to report this matter under the Australian Consumer Law (through the ACCC and NT Consumer Affairs). Customers have the right to receive the exact product they order, and food should meet basic quality and safety standards.
I strongly urge the restaurant to take this feedback seriously. Stop selling stale or wrong items to customers. If the same issue happens again, I will escalate this formally with the relevant consumer...
Read moreI have to say this was by far one of the most appalling and infuriating experiences I’ve ever had at any establishment in my entire life. We walked in and sat down, expecting at the very least to be acknowledged or greeted — but no, we were completely ignored. We waited for over 30 minutes without anyone even bothering to come over and take our order. Not a single staff member had the courtesy to check on us, ask if we needed anything, or even make eye contact.
What made it worse was that the staff were clearly not overwhelmed or busy — they were all just standing around in groups, laughing, gossiping, and chatting away as if they were at some kind of social gathering instead of doing their actual job. It was outrageous to witness such blatant unprofessionalism and complete disregard for customer service. It honestly felt like we were invisible. I cannot comprehend how a place that supposedly serves the public can operate with such an astonishing level of incompetence and laziness...
