Zest Cafe & Catering — Restaurant in Nowra

The place looked full as we were walking past, so we thought thats a good sign, but we were wrong. We had breakfast there and the price was fair until we seen the food coming out. And we were told a 20minute wait which was also fine, they were busy. Eggs benedict very sad looking with bitter unpleasant tasting hollandaise, also arriving without the ham was a huge dissapointment served with stale toasted bread roll and over cooked eggs, grilled mushrooms on toast was alright, not a good choice of fetta to use on that dish and bacon as an extra was hardly cooked also served with a Stale bread roll cut up for that and toasted too it was revolting. Vegemite on toast also a stale bread roll cut up and 1 slice was $6.90. Banana smoothie was nice and plain crossiant was fine but we couldve got that else where and been much happier. Very dissapointed for our first meal out in Nowra....

Super Happy and Friendly Staff! I have never seen Wait Staff Clean down the Tables so fast and thorough like this well-oiled team. 👌 Perfect Selection of Breakfast Styles for all walks of life. I asked for my Coffee with some pouring cream, and to my delight, they said yes we have pouring cream to go with my long black coffee.😊😊😊😊 My 4 Poached Eggs and Bacon on Toast with a Coffee was unbelievable! Sensational Value.👌 Himalayan Salt and Cracked pepper to use as you like.😊😊 Beautiful Clean Cafe that is super cosy with extras like phone charging cables ready to go near the water dispenser. Plenty cosy positioned tables and chairs, couples or bigger groups like 8 are no issues.

Very poor knowledge of what they are selling on the menu as well as under average customer services. Checked with a guy at the counter before placing my order whether their vege patch comes with any toast. He said it does come with Turkish bread but what it actually turned out was just a bowl of beans with avocado and an poached egg. That guy also brought a meal out for me but wasn’t even dare to admit his mistaken word before. Please, if you’re unsure what on your menu, just double check with the kitchen before placing any order through!!! Thought the owner and staff should have a better training in place so that they’re all aware of what they are selling...
