Stayed with quest nowra after travelling 545km from home for our vacation during the bush fire crisis, checked in on New Year’s Eve and was booked to check out on 4th January, was very disappointed after we were informed by RFS that the advise was to leave the area due to the high fire danger, upon calling reception at around 2:15pm on the afternoon of the 3rd to discuss our options with our last night of accomodation we were informed by the lady at the desk that a refund was not possible due to cleaning staff had gone home and they wouldn’t be able to put anyone else in the room! (The car park looked almost empty anyway!) So we then proceeded to pack our belongings and leave, and in the process lost around $230. We then travelled on to Goulburn and had to stay there a night due to the heavy smoke conditions and the long journey home! The staff were very inconsiderate of the dire circumstances we were facing! Also we were given a lot of misinformation by staff throughout our stay, after enquiring whether the onsite restaurant did room service, the man at desk was not sure and said we would need to ring the onsite restaurant ourselves although he didn’t give us the number but instead told us to google it, after doing this we discovered that they infact did do room service for dinners and charge back to the hotel for you to pay when you check out. I think the staff need to be trained in the information they pass on to tourists, and also some compassion in such a terrible time for our country would go along way. Would not recommend quest Nowra to anyway after this experience especially during an emergency. Big thumbs down!!...

If I could give the service minus stars I would . The women with the diamond on her cheek , really seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all with her rude and highly unprofessional , she was at the very least unpleasant towards me and my wife at check in
We where not informed when we called , parking wasn’t free and when we asked how much it was we were met with eye rolls and so much disdain it made us feel us even asking was an inconvenience to her
The rooms where borderline clean , I mean I guess you get what you paid for , it’s a cheap room with cheap standards I’m guessing management hasn’t set foot in these rooms since it started
Now it my assumption there was no smoking or Vaping in the rooms , so imagine my wife’s shock and horror when she saw the same staff member who checked us in vaping and aggressive asking us “ can I help you “when we looked at her , to which my wife said to me I guess that was the reason for her attitude at check in
The location isn’t actually to bad , there isn’t exactly views in Nowra to see , so the lack of views from my room isn’t really the hotels fault
After this experience i will never stay here again and nor would i recommend...

Then I found one of the room with strang smells and you can not open the slide door to try to get fresh air otherwise aircon which will turn off itself on a 28 degree rainning day.
Checked with the front desk asking to change for another room but was told just close the door and run the aircon the smell will be gone. So I runn the aircon for next 3 hrs when I went out for dinner.
When I came back later the night the smell still there very much noticable and it can gets stronger if you take shower and run the exhaust fan becase it vacume out the air with smell from those cracks at skirts of the walls where those water damages are.
End up with smelly room for the night. The other room we also booked was fine without smells but also found bit water damages at corner before we check out.
Ask the front desk in the morning she said they know this issue and the manager is not here (She seem sits the room behind) I will get a call by monday and today is Wed 17:25 no contact at all I throught Quest will get better than this but after the reply I could only be more dissapoint. You now telling me managent knowing the issue and still charge the client full price without mention this but let client stay in a room have health hazard over mould is inside the wall?
