Unfortunately my review is not as positive as I was hoping , I spent $44 on a take away meal (plus $6 delivery). I ordered a butter chicken a garlic naan bread and some hot wings.

I didn't realise the butter chicken didn't come with rice so that was the first let down, the portion size was second let down $25 for a very soup like butter chicken maybe 1/5 of the shallow take away contain had meat the rest was just liquid and no rice was by far a big big let down as butter chicken is my favourite meal when eating indian I have never had a store not automatically supply rice with it.

The butter chicken had a very plain taste to it not like my past indian experiences.

The garlic naan bread was ok it didn't have a strong garlic flavour but that was fine again portion size was a little disappointing for the price tag.

The hot wings were nice they said hot but personally I didn't find them hot (however a friend and my partner disagreed with me on that so heat would be very personal, if you don't like hot food I would say they might be considered hot, but if you have had the hot wings from bommo pub on a Wednesday than I would say the pubs wings are hotter) I found it odd that they came with a very small salad (a mouthful or two) but the butter chicken didn't come with a scoop or two of rice. The lack of rice is probably the biggest sour point the meal considering the price tag and lack of meat the soup of the butter chicken

Personally I won't be eating from here again it's very disappointing as I love indian food and this is the only indian restaurant I know of in Nowra .

Unfortunately due to the way the owner or manager had handled the situation was mind blowing.

I had placed an order through uber eats, the driver delivered the wrong persons order, not the restaurants fault, but I called the restaurant to see if they did deliveries themselves as I was wanting to place another order and wanting the correct order.

The incorrect order given, I couldn’t eat due to allergies, keep in mind the restaurant did not know about my allergies. So tht meal was wasted unfortunately.

The lovely young guy over the phone tried to help the best he could and said call back if I wanted to place another order.

So I do and the owner or manager said no, you need to place an order through the delivery services, which I reluctantly did.

I am an interstate truck driver(logged book hours), I can’t just go and collect it otherwise I would have.

As soon as the order was placed I get a phone from the same person asking if I have allergies, I said yes, he asked which allergies, I told him, that it was cheese, he then asked why I didn’t put the allergy in the notes, how will my team know how to deal with your allergies?

My response was, I didn’t think I needed to as my allergies didn’t extend to the meals I ordered (butter chicken, mango chicken, plain rice, and basic garlic naan), but this same question was not asked when I placed my first order, I was dumbfounded with the treatment I was given considering I placed $250 worth of meals in one night.

I came here last night in a group of 15 to celebrate our friend's 20th birthday. I completely understand the regulations surrounding COVID19 however, the complete lack of professionalism from our main waiter was unacceptable. Upon walking in we found our two separate tables were not in fact next to each other, but on opposite sides of the room. This would have been understandable if the waiter had actually provided customer service throughout our meal. Members of the group were screamed at for bringing a gift wrapped bottle of alcohol, clearly not intended to be drunk in the restaurant. The waiter fluctuated between asking the women invasive questions like if they were related to people he knew, insulting the other staff members, and being completely rude and condescending to us. As 6 of us were at one table, we asked for 6 servings of rice, which was apparently inconceivable and disgusting to our waiter? This waiter was a white male in his 20s and was rude, unprofessional, and anxiety inducing.
