Woodies Pizza On Madeley — Restaurant in Ocean Grove

Worst pizza we have ever had!!! Ordered the 'Shepperd’s Delight' gourmet pizza. Thick slices of potato and sweet potato were RAW and crunchy, barely cooked at all. The 'caramelised onion' was fresh white onion, not caramelised. Herbs were dry and stale. Pizza base was a cheap cardboard pre-made base you would expect from a supermarket. We're not fussy eaters but had to throw this away it was so bad.

PLUS, we arrived on time to pick up and were told the pizzas were just going into the oven, we then sat in plain sight in the store and waited... 45 minutes later we were still waiting so enquired and turns out our pizzas had been sitting in boxes for half an hour or so. Nobody had called out to say our order was ready. I never leave reviews online but this place was so unbelievably poor in quality and customer service! The best hands gown pizza we have had not only in Ocean grove but Melbourne as well. We had a pizza deal for $43 ( 27.01.25) which included 2 large pizzas: Madeley street special and Kilimanjaro ( new) Omg Madeley was delish but Kilimanjaro knocked it out of the ball park! Juicy pizza! If someone can make a juicy pizza , this someone is a wizard of pizza world! The size of the pizzas was great and enough to satisfy two ravenous people after a day on the beach ! ) one of those people was a teen. Unfortunately I’m doing this for holiday makers we’re from mornington ocean grove pub was closed for the price of the food which didn’t bother me you get a thin pizza with 2 1cm squares of bacon per slice as ham on the pizza put my prawns on the wrong side of the pizza and pasta in the spaghetti didn’t even make it to al dente, the Turkish bread isn’t Turkish bread it’s an oval thin base pizza unless you also made an error on that to for $46 pick up that’s just not acceptable I will say lovely customer service and tasted fine just scrimping and over priced for...
