Beach Terrace Cafe — Restaurant in Ocean Grove

THE FRIENDLIEST CAFE IN TOWN! More than just making a great coffee, you'll find a mouth watering menu with all the usual suspects, plus an array of ever changing specials.The food comes out promptly and piping hot. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the serves are very generous. There's tables and booths seating indoors and tables undercover outdoors. The owners, Chris & Won and their staff are an absolute delight. The decor is quirky, the music and atmosphere is fabulous! They also have free Wi-Fi. We always leave this place happy and with full bellies.

Dog lovers are catered for too with a water bowl provided outside, plus the large outdoor tables are equipped with carabiners to attach your dogs lead to.

UPDATE; Will miss all the laughs and cheeky banter, and amazing food obviously but most of all the place where you felt truly welcome and your order was known, even though you’re not technically a local. Many birthday lunches were spent here, my 50th was made memorable; sad I couldn’t quite crack it for another before the guys leave for new adventures.

In a bit of an awkward place, it uses the space well with plenty of seating and a rotating customer base.

Atmosphere felt wonderful with plenty of decor that made it feel an established restaurant of the community, and the service was fantastic.

Food was adequate and fantastically portioned for the price. We had the Benedict with Bacon ($18), and the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Foccasia ($12).

Benedict was good, if not a bit average. The hollandaise is sharp if not a bit too rich and the hashbrown tasted like it was cooked in the wrong oil.

The Bacon, Egg & Cheese Foccasia was great with the tomato relish that balanced the savoury with a tangy, sweet sauce. The cheese was cooked on the egg which made a fantastic crust which brought all the textures together.

Wow!!!! This place is just amazing. Went there for breakfast this morning & the place had an awesome vibe. It certainly took me back to my childhood with the retro decor and the food was Delicious & that’s putting it mildly!!!!!! I chose to have the mi goreng noodles which reminded me of my trips to Bali & Thailand. Quite spicy but you couldn’t help going for more. Hubby loved it too. The whole place felt like i was away from home. The staff being owners & young Scott’s service were 20 stars.
