Venue Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Orange

Ordered at 2.20pm, food arrives at 3. Inedible chicken satay, chicken sticks were dry, cold and tasteless. Sauce tasted like it was tinned. Rare Roast beef sandwich was inch thick bread. Whilst beef was moist it too was almost an inch thick which made the sandwich impossible to eat (even the biggest mouth couldn’t eat that) Chicken Pasta was disgusting- sorry - was this a pesto out of a jar? Says it also had capsicum in the sauce. I got two slithers of semi dried something. Noticed the table next to me left 3/4 of two bolognaise meals and left as well. Service is poor, drops food on table and doesn’t attempt to take away empty coffee cups. Lazy as. The only redeeming thing about this place is the coffee is half decent. Was disappointed to hear that the lady sitting next to me today wrote a review on her salad missing ingredients, or wrong ingredients on said salad. She also complained that her coffee tasted like dishwater. I must say I am surprised that it was not to her satisfaction, as she had eaten everything, and only complained to the lovely waitress as she was collecting her plate. ( Why did you eat it then??) She also had a complimentary coffee made for her after her bad salad, but still drank the dishwater coffee. Then she left and didn't drink the complimentary coffee. (How rude are wannabe bloggers)

My experience was amazing, especially my lime milkshake (could be bigger) and I highly recommend everyone go and try them out. Even when busy the give service with a great smile and descent conversation where time allows. Keep it up...

I've found that the experience you have here largely depends on which staff are on shift. When the Italian lady is making coffee and taking orders the coffee is faultless and she has good customer service skills. However there's another woman who seems to work Sunday afternoons who is so abrupt and quiet,it makes it hard to order and hard to understand her. Today in particular the kitchen was also only doing chips and wedges more than an hour before closing and no one thought to mention it before we'd spent a good give minutes deciding what to order.
